Nobody on a white horse is going to save the Republicans.

They will have to save themselves.

If they are OK with lying to their supporters and the American people, then they will not survive. They will drown in their lies. They are headed for a rude awakening.

What are they going to say when the truth comes out? And it will come out. Perhaps sooner than they think?

"Oh, I had no idea!"? "I never really thought he won the election."? "Oh, we had no idea he was so close to Putin and the Russians."? "I just didn't think it rose to the level of impeachment."?

They need to look themselves in the mirror. They need to be honest with themselves.

The lies are going to be exposed. And they will be bit in the ass.

How big of a deal was the January 6th Insurrection?

Republicans, especially Trumpsters, would have us believe it was not a "big deal" at all. It was just a peaceful "protest" that got out of hand.

They were just angry because their Leader lost the presidency to Joe Biden. It was just their way of letting off steam. In reality, they were honest, patriotic Americans.

That is what they want you to believe.

But, the reality is that people feared for their lives. Some people died. They were an out-of-control mob, who used anything and everything they could get their hands on to smash and destroy and injure others.

Most of them led comfortable lives and had very little to actually complain about. But, they were weak-minded and susceptible to the propaganda of a cult leader. They were ready to give up their lives for their freedom to be morons.

It has become obvious that they cannot accept responsibility for their crimes. They would prefer that everything be dismissed. (In fact, they would prefer that Trump come back to the White House and give them all a pardon)

The sooner they understand that America is not going to forget January 6th, and they are not going to be able to spin it on FOX or anywhere else, the better it will be for all.

The integrity and self-respect of the Republican Party are gone.

If they were ever there?

Someone so nonchalant about lying should not be in public office. Not only are they a threat to our country, they are a threat to themselves.

They have no backbone and no character. They are fearful of losing their powerful positions in the Congress and Senate. (Which is reason enough for them to not be there)

Our country would be a disgrace before the world if their viewpoints were adopted by the American people. They are weak and unprincipled sycophants to a cult leader. They have few redeeming qualities.

Most of their time is spent griping and expressing their grievances about what is wrong. They offer no solutions. They stand for nothing.

They should be retired as soon as possible.

Republicans cannot be a part of the present Republican Party unless they are willing to lie....

...and to kiss the ass of Donald Trump. They understand that is what they must do if they are to remain a part of the Trump Party.

They have to go along with the Big Lie that Trump won the election. Otherwise, they are not accepted by the base of their Party. They are outcasts.

Mitt Romney was booed at the GOP Convention in Utah. (This was the Republican that ran for President in 2012) Liz Cheney was criticized for greeting Biden with a "fist bump" at his speech before the Congress a few nights ago. No one is welcome in that Party unless they swear loyalty to the Fuhrer.

Their bonds to the Republican Party are very strong. It is very much like a cult. Even before Trump, it was very cultish. They have been programmed very heavily by right -wing radio and media. They see Democrats as "evil liberals" and could never compromise or vote with those infidels.

So they are stuck. They are Senators and Congressmen without a Party. It is either the Trump Party or nothing. There is no other choice. They are in a box.

How many Senators and Congressmen?

How many are sweating right now?

Rudy never thought he would ever be raided. He thought he was invulnerable.

If he is as sloppy as he has shown himself to be in the past, this could turn into a scandal for the entire Republican Party.

I have a hunch this is going to get very interesting.

One way to stop the insane gerrymandering going on in different states?

Do away with the Electoral College.

If there is not an Electoral College, then the vote would be determined by a simple majority. That is the more correct way to vote in a democracy, in my opinion.

If there is no Electoral College, there is no need to gerrymander. The majority in each state would represent that state. (The minority, with clever use of technology, is able to go around our democratic process)

If there is to be an Electoral College, then it should represent the will of the majority in their states.

Their premise was wrong from the beginning.

The premise being that the election was stolen from them. Over-looking the fact that for 4 years, Donald Trump was never able to reach 50% in any poll in America. The majority did not agree with him.

It is not logical to believe that he won the last election in a landslide. It is not logical to believe that he won at all.

This was the first misstep. All actions after such a false premise, are created from a false premise, or more accurately, a lie.
