We simply cannot ignore the laws and the Courts.

We all have our biases. We can believe with all our hearts that our biases are true. But, if the facts do not back up our biases, then we are dealing in delusion.

For example, when over 60 Court Judges declare the Trump supporter biases to be false, and not backed up with facts, some may still cling to their biases. They believe in their Leader. Yes, it is very much like a cult.

However, when 60 Court Judges, some of them appointed by Mr Trump, say that the state election officials were not dishonest, and were not working for the other side, and counted the votes accurately, sometimes more than once or twice, then it may be time to re-evaluate our biases? The count remained virtually the same in all counts. Those are the facts. And the Judges ruled on the side of the facts.

If we do not accept the ruling of elected Judges, then we are choosing to go beyond the rules of law. When the Judges rule, it usually has high standing in our country. If one person believes these Judges are wrong, then he/she has a right to appeal to the Supreme Court, if they believe so strongly that their biases are "real facts", and everything else is "fake news".

If the Supreme Court rules, or does not believe it merits a ruling, that is the present final decision. (Perhaps there will be a similar or related appeal in the future?) So, if the cult chooses to believe their Leader over election officials and Federal Judges, our country will continue to be held hostage to their delusions? We cannot simply ignore the law and the Courts.

Senator Blunt puts out new "talking point" for Commission?

He was on Chris Wallace's Fox News show this morning and said that it was too early to start a Commission. He referenced how long it took to get a 9/11 Commission together and that we should let the current committees and investigations do their work first.

We could anticipate that their caucus will begin to sing from the same songbook, in my opinion.
They are doing their damnedest to delay their confrontation with the truth.

Meanwhile, the Select Committee will take its slow sweet time and pick all the meat off the bones as the Republicans huddle around Donald Trump's big butt.

Total Unrequited Bias

In my opinion, both sides are guilty of bias against the other.

We are led to believe that Mr Trump is totally sincere in his irresponsible and unfactual comments. That is why so many people believe and follow his comments.

This was Liz Cheney's response after Margorie Taylor Greene compared the wearing of a mask to the Holocaust. Ms Greene has refused to apologize.

Are you a forgiving person?

Will you ever be able to forgive Republicans that have done such great harm to the soul of America?

Whatever grand ideals some may have had about America have been blown away by the lies and hypocrisy of the Republicans. Everything they have exhibited runs counter to what we believed an American should be?

Is there any room for any forgiveness?

What is preventing the State of Georgia from charging Trump with campaign fraud?

With the phone call asking (threatening) their SoS if he did not find 11,780 votes, which was one more than he needed?

This was a blatant crime in many folks' eyes. It was his most daring move, until his attempted coup on January 6th.

Why has Georgia not pressed charges? Are they blocked politically from doing so? Do they not have the authority? Do they think it is not enough to charge the former president with attempted campaign fraud?

How deep is the corruption?

When our nation's Capitol is attacked and one political Party does not see the need for a Commission to find out all the facts and report to the American people? How corrupt is the Republican Party?

Notwithstanding all of their criticism of the Democratic Party, they show little loyalty to our country or our form of government. Obviously, they are frightened of the truth.

The trail of corruption usually leads to money. Where is the GOP and the RNC getting their money? Is it really coming from small donations? Or is there another source we have not heard about? Are they tied up with Russian oligarchs? Are they laundering money for themselves and the Russians thru their Party organizations? To be honest, we do not know. We only have our suspicions. Is Donald Trump their "bagman"?

The corruption has seeped into the core of our democracy. The love of power and money has reached unprecedented levels. It appears the entire Republican Party has turned to lies and crime to maintain power and their flow of money.
