It is in the Scriptures and was in a speech from Abraham Lincoln in 1858, when he was running for the US Senate from Illinois.
Furthermore, he said, "I do not expect the Union to be dissolved I do not expect the house to fall but I do expect it will cease to be divided."
...
"It will become all one thing or all the other."
Once again, the house is divided against itself. It cannot stand.
Unfortunately, this time, it is divided by political ideology.
With a demagogue leading this nation, there is no guarantee that we will survive.
The Biblical reference, in my opinion, is more accurate than Lincoln.
Matthew, 12:25: And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.
