"...and who's gonna pay for it!"

"Mexico!", they yelled in unison.

So, now Trump wants to build his wall before the next election so he can say he kept his promise to his supporters. But, if he were to complete his wall, keeping only half a promise would not be the same as keeping your promise.

As long as Mexico doesn't pay for it, the promise will remain broken.

"Sorry, Charlie".

How important is Vladimir Putin to Donald Trump?

Way back in 2015, when the question of his tax returns came up, he said, "They are in audit. As soon as they are out of audit, sure, I will make my tax returns public". But, the election came and went and he never turned over his tax returns.

Now, we probably have a good idea of why he didn't turn them over. He would have been exposed as being in bed with the Russians. Do not be surprised if he calls Putin, even as you are reading this.

His entire business seems to have been tied up with Russian oligarchs, thru Deutsche Bank. The oligarchs have been known to collect their debts thru unconventional means. The only person that could protect Donald Trump from the wrath of the oligarchs would be Vladimir Putin. That would explain his groveling and his refusal to ever say anything critical of his dear friend, Vladimir.

Donald Trump has been doing the bidding of Vladimir Putin since the first day he entered the White House. Actually, it was before he officially became the president, when he had General Flynn making calls on his behalf in attempts to appease Vladimir Putin. He wanted to lift the sanctions.

We don't know for sure, but his overtures to China and North Korea could be in the interests of Putin and the Russians? Just as his efforts to tear down NATO and to wreck all the meetings with our allies. Donald Trump is doing his best to please Putin and keep his businesses alive.

No doubt, he will fight the release of his tax documents to the Congress all the way to the Supreme Court. He will argue that it is private information and of no concern to the Congress of the United States. It will be a long and arduous battle.

We should expect no quick resolution with Deutsche Bank handing over the documents. It will not be that easy. Trump wants to delay, delay, delay until the election is over. Then he will figure out how to pay off Putin and his Russian friends.

Dear Prudence

August 27, 2019

Why do we and the newspeople talk about Trump all the time ?

Is it because we do not understand him?

Is it because he is so interesting?

Is it because we feel threatened by him?

Is it because we have nothing else to talk about?

Is it because we are obsessed with that which is strange and unpredictable?

Is it because we cannot take our eyes off the carwreck by the side of the road?

What do you think ?

Do Democrats focus too much on Trump and not enough on the Senate Republicans ?

After all, it is Mitch McConnell and the Republicans that are blocking everything from the House.

As much, or more than Trump, it is Mitch McConnell and the Republicans that are selling our democracy down the river. It is they that are threatening our economy and our leadership in the world.

It is they that are refusing to govern.

It is they that refuse to uphold our Constitution and our rule of law.

It is they also, that need to be removed from public office. It is not just Donald Trump.

The American people need to understand that the Republicans have no ideas and no plans on fixing the problems facing this country.

Joe Walsh doesn't have to defeat Trump - he only has to wound him.

But the only way he can get "right-wingers" to listen to him is to remain a "conservative". If he were to change Parties, they would immediately block him out of consideration. However, so long as he remains a Republican, disenchanted Trump supporters will listen to him. It is a complex political formulation.

He does not have to win any primary against Trump. If he takes a small number in each precinct, that could mean the difference in the next election? And once Trump supporters leave him for the reasons that Walsh is preaching, it is highly unlikely that they will go back and vote for Trump in the general election. That is where it will help the Democratic candidate.

His entry into the fray has put a new chess piece on the board. Nobody knows the impact it might have.

He is the president of the United States and nobody knows where he is making his money.

He says he has lost from $3 - 5 billion dollars by being the President?

Those that have studied him over the years have never estimated his wealth to be that much?

Is he making money off the Presidency?

This is obscene.

He says his people looked around and they concluded that his golf club in Miami would be the best place for the next G-7 meeting. He says he would make no money off the event. But everybody knows that is a lie. Once more, he is pulling the wool over the eyes of the American people. Shame on them!

Shame on the Congress! For letting him get away with this thievery. He is robbing this country blind and nobody knows anything about how he is doing it?

It's a disgrace!

Any doubt that he is Putin's puppet ??

He is going on and on defending Putin. Why?

What if DU blocked any mention of Donald Trump for 24 hours?

Just to show the cable news and mainstream media that it could be done?

Would it be possible?

No doubt, it would be healthy for the psyche.

The guy simply monopolizes all of media with his insanity. He's crazier than a shithouse rat.

Nixon's ...er....er...Trump's "Enemies List"...

In 1973, John Dean mentioned an "enemies list" in front of a Watergate Committee and people went crazy. What kind of sick autocrat was sitting in our White House? Even members of our press, like Daniel Shorr, were included. It was a secret until John Dean exposed it.

But, the Trump regime makes no secret of it at all. They plan on going after their "enemies" - in the press and everywhere else when they might criticize Donald Trump. Trump has said many times that the press is "the enemy of the people".

We should watch this development very carefully. Everybody has something to hide except for me and my monkey, but everybody is not in a position of power in the government.

It appears to be a plan to intimidate the press into not reporting stories that might reflect negatively on Donald J Trump? When this story was mentioned this morning, it seemed like a pall had fallen over it? It is already affecting people in the press, in my opinion.
