Alex Jones and the "Little Lie"...

Not the "Big Lie", but the "Little Lie".

He got on his propaganda station and told the world that those poor children in Sandy Hook were not killed -it was a conspiracy - and many of his listeners believed him. Just like so many more, now believe the "Big Lie".

Why are so many, so hesitant, to tell the truth?

Big Lies and Little Lies, they all do their damage.

Was the attack upon our Capitol worse then the attack on the WTC on September 11th?

Granted, there may have been more deaths on 9/11 but was it as much of a threat to our democracy as the attack upon our Capitol?

I tend to think not.

Our country was more or less united after the attack of 9/11 but is very much divided after the attack of January 6th. We should have been united but we are not. We are a deeply divided nation.

Our country has been infected with propaganda, lies, and demagoguery. They have effectively played one American against the other.

In my opinion, the attack upon our Capitol has done more damage to our country than did the attack of 9/11.

Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS)

It was not OK to attack our Capitol.

Those that did so should be held legally accountable.

There was no justification for attacking the most sacred place of our democracy.

No one should be above the law.

Everyone involved in the attack upon our Capitol should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Believing a lie does not make it true and does not excuse the damages from the lie.

Big Boss Man

America cannot tolerate the lawlessness from the right.

They can believe whatever they want to believe. They can believe the moon is made of cheese and they can run out in the yard with their crackers, but that doesn't mean they get cheese with their whine.

They can oil and grease their guns at home, and look at themselves in the mirror, but they have no right to carry automatic weapons into a peaceful gathering of citizens. That is not what the 2nd Amendment means.

It was not OK to attack our Capitol. It was an act of lawlessness. There was no justification for it. Those that planned it, or participated in it, should be held criminally responsible. End of story.

Just because they were butt-hurt over losing an election gave them no right to attack the most sacred place of our democracy. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It doesn't matter if they believed a big lie from a big con artist.

They need to understand that no one is above the law. They need to stop carrying their automatic weapons into public events. They have proven their point. They have no respect for the rights of others or the laws of this country. It must cease.
