Yeah, they were yelling, "Hang Mike Pence!", but were they really that serious?
A witness that was a participant in the Trump rally stated that if they would have captured him, he would have been pummeled to death. (She was quoted on the Ali Velshi show this morning on MSNBC, He was interviewing Michael Bender, the author of one of the new books that just came out)
The American people had better open their eyes. Their vote is very important. They should think twice, maybe three times, before they pull the lever or mark the box.
There has never been a more important time in our history in my lifetime. American citizens need to step forward or they are going to lose their country to a violent dictatorship.
The sad part is that even Mike Pence does not realize how close he came to death.
Should politicians be held to a higher standard than common citizens?
In my opinion, they should.
Because they take an oath to protect and defend our Constitution. The common citizen does not.
An oath should mean something.
It is obvious that we have politicians that have betrayed that oath.
They deserve no breaks.
Has anyone watched "America's Voice" on Amazon Fire TV?
It is off the wall with their conspiracy theories. Two of their hosts that I have seen are Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro.
Navarro was on this afternoon with a guest that was connected in some way to the Arizona "fraudit". He said there were 4 or 5 people collecting funds for the Cyber Ninjas, including General Flynn. He mentioned one that had received $258K dollars and all went to the Ninjas.
Navarro scolded the RNC and Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, and Ronna McDaniel for not being supportive enough of their efforts. He was very critical of them.
They seem to be working hand in glove with Donald Trump in their recount efforts. Their plans are to expand to other states. They are in full operation and have not given up on their coup.
They are selling it all as "election integrity" and people keep sending them money. $$$$$$$$

In my opinion, there are several members of Congress that need to be expelled. (You probably have your own list?) They should have a vote to expel any member connected to the insurrection on January 5th. If they cannot get the two-thirds to expel, then they should vote to censure those members, which requires a simple majority. But history would record that there was a vote to expel that member before they were censured.
Is it worthwhile to have an investigation, if there is no accountability?
Does it really matter if Kevin McCarthy puts anyone on the Select Committee?
After all the witnesses are called and all the facts are gathered, will people be charged?
Will the truth suffice without accountability?
Do you believe anyone will be charged after the facts are known?
Are we to accept that Congressmen and President are exempt from the laws of this country?
Should there be jury trials?
Or would it be too divisive, and better to just move forward?
Should these questions even be raised?

"Just pretend nothing happened that all the books are reporting on".
"Just pretend they are all liars, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs."
"Just pretend you were the greatest President that ever lived."
"Just pretend the pandemic wasn't real and that the economy did not come to a halt".
"Just pretend that every state that you lost was a fraud".
"Just pretend that you got more votes than Joe Biden".
And on and on and on....
81 million Americans fired Donald Trump.
Even if he had won his hand-picked toss-up states, he still would have lost the national vote by more than 7 million votes. It was a resounding thumbs-down for the disgraceful fraud that occupied our White House for four years.
He lost. He is a loser. That is the fact of the matter.
The people did not want him back as President.
They cannot get enough Ninjas to change that fact.
None so blind as those who will not see.
After all the revelations about Donald Trump, that were exposed in recent books, one might think people would not want to be associated with such incompetence and anti-American behavior?
But not the Republican politicians in Washington. They have heard nothing. They have seen nothing. They still love the disgraced and immoral former Leader. They do not care about anything except staying in power.
Witness the trek by Kevin McCarthy up to NJ to meet with the Former Guy, even as stories were breaking of his treasonous and disgraceful actions. Even as the General in charge of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was exposing the dangers that the ex-President posed for this country.
There is no explanation.
What will it take to open their eyes? What will it take to engage their minds?
Does disaster have to strike our own homes before we can believe it can happen?
Could there be a much larger conspiracy than anyone has imagined?
Could it be a conspiracy involving the entire Republican Party?
After the attack upon our Capitol, two-thirds of them still voted to not certify the election for Joe Biden. That smells all the way to Denmark.
We see conspiracies with Trump and white supremacists, with Rudy and the Russians, with Roger Stone and Wikileaks, but we might have over-looked the biggest conspiracy of all?
Otherwise, why would Republican leaders like McConnell and McCarthy and Scalise, rally behind the criminal ex-President? Maybe they are all in on it?
Maybe this is a conspiracy of a national political Party?
Powerful propaganda can divide the world.
FOX News was never meant to "report the news". They were created to counter "mainstream" news and to offer entertainment to its viewers.
Unfortunately, in their desire to be "fair and balanced", they came to believe that they had to report the exact opposite of what the "liberal" media reported. Over time, that had a very corrosive effect on our democracy.
A democracy depends on some sort of consensus, in order to thrive and survive. If a democracy is divided, it is only a matter of time until it disintegrates and falls apart. FOX News has been more instrumental in creating the present political climate in this country than anyone. We are a very divided democracy.
Perhaps that was not their intent? Regardless, that is the result of their divisive propaganda.
(There is a problem when FOX refuses to report on the bombshell report, of all the numerous books and witnesses that are exposing the threat to us all)
