Is anyone surprised? Anyone?

Did they really think they could make it to January 20th?

How many times did they need to be warned?

It is anarchy. It is an insurrection. It is treason. It is terrorism.

Even if they tried to impeach him, they could not convict.

That is where we are at this moment.

Republicans have a decision to make.

Do they want a D-I-V-O-R-C-E or do they want to stay in an abusive relationship?

Well, maybe he will change?

Maybe he will stop saying bad things about us on Twitter?

He's been a really good provider for our family.

Do they really want to surrender what little dignity they may have left?

A 75% Democratic vote would be 300K to 100K. That would be 200K difference.

Besides Raffensperger, how many other SoS's and state electors has Trump tried to extort or bribe?

Just because they weren't taped or we haven't heard about them doesn't mean it hasn't happened. The odds are that it has happened.

We know he invited a group of Republicans from Michigan to the White House and that he has contacted people in PA and WI. We do not know exactly what he said to them or what he may have promised them? Or if he threatened them?

But, Georgia alone would not give him enough votes to win the Electoral College? Did he have commitments from other states already? Why so much effort in Georgia?

There should be an FBI investigation.

My prediction: Mitch McConnell will not be Majority Leader, even if both Republicans win in Georgia.

I believe that at least 2 Republicans will change their affiliation to Independent and will caucus with the Democrats if both Republican candidates win in Georgia.

It's just a hunch and no inside information.

Some might say it is only wishful thinking?

Wake up, America!

Americans need to understand, this is not about Democrats or Republicans.

This is about America. This is about your country. This is about your democracy.

Americans need to understand that an election was held and the votes were fairly and honestly counted.

Simply saying that an election was stolen or "rigged" does not make it so. It is highly irresponsible, to say the least, to promote such ideas.

The election was challenged with the Governors and Secretarys of State in several states. There were recounts and recounts and another recount. Each time the votes were certified.

The state electors certified the elections in their states. Trump and his regime took it to the courts. They went before 60 judges and they all ruled against Trump and his regime. They rallied 17 State Attorney Generals to take the case before the Supreme Court of this land. And the Supreme Court ruled against them.

What more can be said?

Open your eyes, America.

The Republicans are going to vote to "certify" Donald Trump as the Leader of this country.

The Democrats are going to vote to "certify" the new President of the United States.

Contrary to the Constitution, the wishes of the majority of voters in this country, and the Electoral College, the Republicans are going to vote to dismantle the Reagan Revolution and their long-established conservative traditions.

It is no longer about political philosophy. It is about a cult of personality.

For their Leader, they are willing to betray everything they have professed to be sacred.

No one should feel sorry for them. They have made every decision with their eyes wide open.

We should only feel sorry for the damage they have done to our country and our historical institutions.

In the strangest of bedfellows, moderate and conservative Republicans must unite with moderate and liberal Democrats to defend our democracy from the radical and reactionary Trump Party.

Politics must take a back seat to survival.

We all remember when Trump pulled his trick of gassing the protestors in Lafayette Park, so he could get a photo-op in front of the church.

And he held the Bible high in the air, upside-down.

I have known of no politician to use religion so cynically to manipulate his followers. It is purely an act, but many of his followers believe him to be a very religious person.

It is political opportunism in its most simple and disgusting form.

It should be a crime to take advantage of the most naive in such a way.

But like the reality TV star that he once was, he plays it to the hilt. He invites them into the Oval Office and they "lay hands" on him and pray for him and he plays along. They never know that he thinks they are the most stupid people on Earth.
