All the "great" things that Donald Trump did as President?

... ?

I will wait for the list.

(Making friends with Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un do not count as "great" and neither does the attempt to overthrow our government)

As we celebrate the holidays, as we try to escape the violence and division...

Donald Trump is in full-propaganda mode. Once again, he is indoctrinating his followers with more hate, lies, and divisive partisan rhetoric. He is telling them how we have become a Third World Country and how great we were when he was president. He is preaching that the Radical Left Democrats are the enemy, along with the FBI and the DOJ and the "Department of Injustice. The "Fake News" are spreading lies about him, he says.

This is a dangerous time for our democracy. As we rest and enjoy the holidays, the criminal former leader is taking advantage of his propaganda message to strengthen his position and to incite another attack upon our country or institutions.

He is not getting weaker when he is permitted to spread his poison in this manner. He is a liar. He is a propagandist. He is not going away and he continues to be a threat to our nation.

When you know there will be no consequences...

...you do not hesitate to do anything.

That is the story of Trump's life. He doesn't fear any consequences for anything he has done.

He could not win a fair election if his life depended on it. The election was not stolen from him. He simply was unable to steal it. But he tried, as we all know.

The truth is that the majority of Americans hate his guts. He has the support of the the sick and feeble-minded and Republicans that believe staying in power is the most important thing in their world. They don't really care for him but, along with his cult, he gives them the opportunity to win their elections and stay in power.

He will never win the majority of the votes of the American people. He lost to Biden by about 7 million votes. He lost to Hillary by about 3 million votes. He took over the White House because of a fluke in the system and with more than a little help from his Russian friends with their propaganda.

He can never win anything unless it is rigged or crooked. He is one of the most despicable political actors to ever step on a podium.

Until he is shown that there are consequences for his words and actions, he will continue to tear down our country and demean the good people of this nation.

After the threats and the attempted coup, 147 Republicans still voted to not certify Biden ...?

What does that tell us?

It says to me that they had already decided to vote against certification and had discussed, or perhaps conspired, to vote that way and refused to change their vote.

There were 8 Republican Senators and 139 Republican Congressmen that still voted to not certify, after their lives were threatened by the mob and they had to evacuate the Capitol.

In hindsight, it appears they were all part of the larger conspiracy to overthrow the election, in my opinion.

This attempted coup had many more co-conspirators than most of us ever imagined. They all knew the plan. We now know that Trump had contacted many of them by phone, according to the Final Report by the J6 Committee.

It was a widespread conspiracy and the majority of House Republicans were part of it.

Otherwise, they would not have voted the way they did, after the traumatic attack on the Capitol.

The Breakdown of Justice

No department in the Trump Administration was abused and manipulated moreso than the Justice Department. From the beginning, with the appointment of the milquetoast Jeff Sessions, Trump meant to use the Department as his own legal team, as he has used lawyers his entire adult life.

When William Barr was finally approved as the new Attorney-General, Trump finally had found someone to defend and protect his interests and to keep him free of any legal entanglements. More than anyone in recent memory, Barr did more to tear down the Justice Department than anyone. Only when he was asked to do what he thought was impossible to accomplish, did he refuse to walk the line. He now pretends that he was standing for law and order all along. It simply isn't true.

When Barr left in December of 2020, Trump began looking for someone else that would do the dirty work for him and keep him out of jail in the interim. It was like musical chairs in the last days of the Trump Administration. Near the end, some of top officials in the Justice Department threatened to leave, but by then, the damage had already been done.

Merrick Garland walked into a Department that had been devastated and demoralized. The FBI was a diminished mess with the leadership hiding in its corners, hoping for the storm to pass.

Has the Department now recovered from the attack? Is it now prepared to do the job it is supposed to do to protect the laws and defend the Constitution of this country?

It will not be easy.

If Cassidy Hutchinson is like Alexander Butterfield, then who is John Dean?

The J6 Committee has released much more of Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony before the Committee and it showed that she identified with the predicament of Alexander Butterfield when she was reading a book by Woodward and Butterfield. Would she be able to look herself in the mirror if she did not do her best and in a moral way?

Her first lawyer, whom she dropped, and in her opinion, had told her to not be honest with the Committee, is being reported as resigning from his law office. He may be the first new indictment the DOJ is looking at? Is he a step on the ladder?

Was he advised to tell Cassidy Hutchinson to just say "I do not recall", even if there was much that she did recall? It's sort of a witness manipulation or maybe witness tampering?

Is this where the DOJ begins its case, using the J6 Committee's Final Report as a roadmap?

34 co-conspirators taking the "Fifth" may explain why the investigation has taken so long.

That is a huge number of people conspiring to overthrow an election and to put in place their chosen autocrat.

One wonders how long it will take Jack Smith to put the puzzle together in such a large and complex conspiracy?

Once the first indictments come down, and the corner pieces of the puzzle are put together, then the big picture may begin to come into focus?

However, it may take longer than what many are expecting at this time?

Republicans considered Trump's demolition of the IRS as one of his "achievements"...

...and why they supported him.

They supported him not paying taxes and bribing the IRS Commissioner and working with the Treasury Secretary to steal revenue from the US Treasury.

When they talk about "all the great things he did", the destruction of the IRS is one of them.

The Republicans supported the criminal acts of Donald Trump because it furthered their radical agenda.

"Only the mob takes the Fifth..."

That's what Donald Trump said.

Yesterday, the J6 Committee released the transcripts of 34 of Trump's stooges and they all took the "Fifth". They took the "Fifth" on the most basic questions.

I guess we can assume they work for the "Mob"?
