Forgive me for a stupid question, but I haven't been out of the house in weeks...

how does this pick up thing work at stores?

My advice on staying at home... for what it's worth.

-Go to bed at a decent hour
-Get up early and GET DRESSED
-Get some exercise everyday
-Pick at least one task a day, start it and finish it
-read
-take one day at a time and be thankful each day that you have it
-try to do one thing everyday for someone else
-limit your consumption of the news, it's mostly bad and depressing
-keep an eye on your consumption of alcohol
-determine that you're going to learn a new skill and work at it a little everyday

I live alone and am in 2 of the Covid-19 risk categories. Living alone has not been a problem for me but the separation from my family and friends has been very difficult. I have found that trying to stick to the above regimen has helped me a lot.

What really astounds me is that there is no one around Trump with

a conscience. As of yesterday, I am including Birx and Fauci. There are just no excuses left.

Last night, just before dusk, the dogs got excited and there in the back field were 4 deer...2 moms and 2 babies. We watched as they meandered their way to the back yard, stopping along the way to look up at us. Their color has changed from gray to brown - a certain sign of Spring. They grazed their way to within an easy stone's throw of the deck and then slowly made their way to the raised garden and then into the woods. This took about 45 minutes. The pups were pissed that I wouldn't let them out to play. These beautiful animals were calm and graceful as if they knew Mother Nature was fully in change, not us.

My first thought every morning when I wake up is

"good, I have another day."

That thought gives me comfort and gets me through the bad news that inevitably comes during the day.

Can someone explain why wearing a mask won't help a

healthy person from breathing in virus droplets? It seems to me that if sick people are supposed to wear them to keep the droplets in why don't the masks work to keep the droplets out?
