She was the poor sap who had to take Sarah Palin shopping for convention/campaign fashions.

She was the one with the RNC credit card who spent 150-thousand dollars on outfits for Sarah so Sarah could look "presidential". Or something.

Never thought I'd take a train to downtown for such a thing!

But you can do that now, from Santa Monica straight into downtown. It works out GREAT! We used it for the March for Science, and the train was full of people and protest signs as it approached the downtown area. Slick! And no parking hassles down there, either.

The LA Women's March was great! So much fun, so mellow, so peaceable, so safe, and a whole lotta everybody was there. And everybody seemed to be on a contact high after the wretched "American Carnage" buzz-kill "inaugural" the day before. We all cheered each other up. The protest signs were STELLAR - creative as hell, clever as hell, and in some cases downright hilarious! It was like a slow-moving art gallery through the downtown streets. There were drum circles in the middle of the intersections which had all been closed off to traffic for the march, relaxed motorcycle cops leaning on their handlebars people-watching all day. little kids and people with babies, people with their dogs, people in costume, little old ladies galore, and every now and then you'd spot a celebrity. Just two feet away from me heading down toward City Hall, there was Dakota Johnson of the "50 Shades..." movies, walking with a group of her friends!

I wouldn't have missed it for the world! And I got a selfie with Jacob Soboroff of MSNBC, who was there covering the event. I seized the opportunity to ask him to please tell his bosses that many of us loyal viewers didn't appreciate having Greta Van Susteren jammed down our throats.

Wow! Thirty-nine!!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were still more to ooze out from somewhere or other. You SURE that’s the lot, Jared?

Yeah, same here. Wanna read and savor all this leisurely

and on laptop instead of phone. Bigger screen: much larger enjoyment!

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
