I was going on a no-detail timeline seen earlier.

Yours is likely a lot more accurate.

Nothing so far specifies what the nature of his presence at Dulles was. I suspect we all eagerly await more details. Including me!

But gotta say - attempts to scrub various records or cancel/replace devices (like Facebook and his cell phone) look awfully fishy. PARTICULARLY when an airport visit is involved.

That kid George Papadopoulos tried such a thing, except via airplane.

He was nabbed after arriving at Dulles Airport in DC, this past July, in an apparent attempt to flee the country. After he'd closed his Facebook page (the one reportedly containing a lot of Russian messages) and setting up a nice new clean Facebook page, canceling his cell phone and getting a new one with a new number, and then heading toward the airport. Where he was taken into custody. And started singing like Pavarotti, evidently.
