I don’t know what wows me more - that she said it and obviously meant it or that the control room didn’t bleep it out. And frankly they should have left it in, in this case. I’m glad they didn’t bleep it out. Situation certainly warranted it.

Having two kids, now grown and on their own - one married, the other seriously dating, the only thing that concerns me about their lives and their choices is one question. “Are you happy?” I just don’t care about anything else by now.

I am so grateful that both of them can honestly answer in the affirmative. That’s all I want and all I could hope for at this point. For ANYBODY’s kids. Yours included.
