calimary's JournalDan Rather cuts through the crap again.
I do NOT understand the value or logic of having Santorum as a regular panelist. Hes a colossally sad pathetic joke of a nothingburger.
He's already on record stating publicly that if Ivanka
werent his daughter, hed be dating her.
And what does THAT tell you!?!
That's quite a list, Grins.
Thanks for the extensive legwork! You dug up a lot!
One thing I never hear often enough, when the whining and yowling and double-talking and excuse-making starts, is how NOT ONE of these things is happening in a vacuum. NOT ONE of these things qualifies as an oopsie or a mulligan or a but-hes-new-at-this,-give-him-time OR a its-just-a-coincidence thing!
Seriously! How-the-hell many coincidences must there be before some of these dingdongs finally start waking up? How many hot-n-cold-running-Russians must there be, coming out of every doggone faucet all over that campaign and that White House before the stench finally becomes too unavoidable?
Good Grief, if this were President Obama or Hillary, CRIMINY! Either of them would have been tried, convicted, tortured, executed, buried, and then dug back up so it could all start up again a second time!
Welcome to DU, AZ8theist!
I didn't see it live, but Joy Reid ran a replay later that day. That's what I watched. I could barely breathe. Utterly transfixed. And at the same time, in the periphery of my mind, taking note of the reaction of the crowd, how every now and then they'd generate some brief noise that seemed to be meant to add various kinds of attagirls to her still and silent posture. And she persisted. Too. And the message was delivered, and anyone seeing this was thus compelled to stop and think. In later closeup takes I saw, I noticed that there were tears streaming down her face.
I, too, can remember the Vietnam War days. The first such march I attended was against the Vietnam War. I participated in lots of marches and rallies against the Iraq War. Took my then-young kids to a couple of 'em. Emma Gonzales is an absolute wonder. Awe-inspiring. She is amazingly strong and powerful. She's a force of nature. She leaves me slack-jawed. I'm hoping she does something that has power and clout to it, so she can continue to exert a lot of influence. I'd love to see her run for office someday - only if she wanted to, of course - but I'd love to see her have an impact on public policy.
I couldn't stop crying. Watched it when Joy Reid ran a repeat and couldn't stop crying.
I must have cried straight through for at least five of those minutes.
One genuinely wretched excuse for a human being he is.
Oh Yeeeeeeaaaaaah!!!
Uh-HUH!!!
Wow. Makes you think.
