WOW, what a post!

mitt romney isn't fit to touch the hem of your grandfather's garment, Drunken Irishman. No doubt in my mind who's the bigger man (and FAR BETTER man).

OMG! That's FABULOUS!!! The "Klondike Kardashian!"

DUzy!!!

Sheer GENIUS, Doc Holliday! I salute you!

Yep. Much blessed, much OBLIGATED.

That's what I grew up with. Luke 12:48.

Goldie won't let us vote for romney!

Here's a photo - well, somewhere in the following link... (I hope!)

OMG! It worked! There's Goldie! And she DEFINITELY rides INSIDE!

But didn't you just love romney's "leadership" on this? Leading from behind.

Waiting til he saw how it was gonna play out instead of coming directly out front, like Obama did, and not mush-mouth it. He's a very reactive kind of person, at least if you go by his behavior. He's not a leader at all. He's a follower. Now, doesn't THAT sound nice? The Follower President? Who'll he be following today? paul ryan? rand paul? tony perkins? Who'll he be following tomorrow? todd akin? donald trump? grover norquist? the koch brothers?

VERY instructive about the "leadership" we'd have for the next four years if romney gets in.

ABSOLUTE Utter Horse Shit.

We are NOT like them. And taking a page from their Playbook From Hell does NOT make us like them, especially if we use those techniques - TO WIN.

I have been known to tell people "actually, YES. I DO want to be like them. EXACTLY like them. Because they win. They cheat, they fight dirty, they rig the game - and it helps them win. And I WANT TO WIN.

Winning, in politics, is EVERYTHING. It's the ONLY thing.

If you don't win, you don't get to govern.

If you don't win, you don't get to set the agenda.

If you don't win, you don't get the bully pulpit.

If you don't win, you don't have a chance, seriously, to effect true and meaningful change.

If you don't win, you don't get to drive the debate.

If you don't win, you don't get to initiate the programs and policies, and/or discussion about same.

If you don't win, you're just so much gum on the bottom of somebody's shoes. And you don't get to chair the committees and you don't get to make or change the rules and you don't get to frame the issues.

I'm as Machiavellian as the next guy. And I want to WIN.

Winning is THE ONLY THING. It's all there is, and all that matters. There's plenty of time AFTER you win to talk about ethics and morals and uplift the debate and the language and reset the game clock and the rules. And you can't do that if you don't win.

I ask myself that question all the time. WHO VOTES for these people?????

WHO on Earth thinks THIS is desirable representation????

WHO could possibly think this is a good thing? Good how?

I do NOT get it. I've heard about voting against one's own best interests, but this is freakin' ridiculous!

And that laugh!

I LOVED her! I don't know how or why, but when I first saw her, I think - on the "Ed Sullivan Show," I was just a kid, and she struck me as a ground-breaker. I knew it wasn't just a comedy routine. She was breaking something wide open.

Breaking: Rep. Akin Plans To Drop Out Of Race Despite Earlier Claims To ‘Fight on’

Source: Addictinginfo.com

It was just a few sh0rt hours ago when this comic/writer was covering Akin’s feigned apology and his commitment to ‘remain in the race’ despite all the massive flak he was getting from within his own party to drop out following some less-than-brilliant remarks about rape. But multiple GOP big wigs (and smaller wigs, including CNN’s Erick Erickson and Richard Grenell and Mitt Romney’s former foreign policy spokesperson, are stating that Akin is departing the race.

Could this be true? I'd kinda like him to stay!

First LBN post - hope I did it correctly.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
