There's not much that surprises me about this traitorous criminal Russian-asset jerk anymore.
Mostly on the CON side. Unfortunately, OUR side has a loooooooooooonnnng way to go
to catch up.
They were all busy building their infrastructure-from-Hell while our side skated and snoozed and, I guess, felt as though we got close enough to passage of the Equal Rights Amendment and other efforts that we should declare victory, give ourselves a nice break, and go take a nap.
Meanwhile, the bad guys kept working, building, working, building, and more working and more building. And by now, they're massively in control. They've practically run the table. And our side? Well, maybe, hopefully, they're starting to WAKE THE FUCK UP, FINALLY...
If all those prayers meant closed-minded willful idiots like you would never get another
vote for office, then maybe I'd start to believe in them as real solutions.
Maybe.
But as we've repeatedly seen, all those thoughts and prayers haven't done squat to make this problem go away. If they worked, I'd be advocating for them. But others choose to do only that, so I'll do something different - like ramp up my anti-gun activism.
I want to start spreading that framing. That MESSAGING.
I don’t see why we shouldn’t do what kkkarl rove did: attack them at their “strength.” This whole “pro-life” canard.
They only care about a mass of differentiating cells inside the most intimate and private parts of a woman’s body.
But they care NOTHING about what’s been done to rape and otherwise defile the same ecosystem that supports ALL life of EVERY kind and classification.
NOPE. I’m NOT letting them do that.
It’s NOT okay.
They DON’T get to be selective. If life is sacred, then ALL life and ALL that supports it is just as sacred.
And that’s THAT.
You either support all life or you don’t. Period.
That means you can’t support the death penalty.
You have to be against guns.
You have to release all those children from those cages. Provide them FULL health care and proper immunizations for the flu.
You have to provide them sanitary conditions and decent shelter and plenty of good nourishing food. That whole “ALL Life Is Sacred” thing, dontchaknow. And you better be ready to restore them to parents and relatives so THEIR life has full support. You’re not allowed to throw them away or kick them to the corner just because they don’t look like you, or speak the language you do. That “ALL Life Is Sacred” thing applies ACROSS THE BOARD. That means THEM, TOO. THEIR lives.
THEIR “Life.”
“No exceptions” means exactly that.
AND that goes for all the Life in the ecosystem - which supports every living thing on this planet. You can’t just send the bulldozers in. Or dump your shit anywhere you feel like. Or force toxic and otherwise life-threatening policies to be implemented. Sorry. It doesn’t work that way and you don’t get to do that. You don’t get to pick and choose because somebody doesn’t have the same skin color you do, or doesn’t sound like you or comes from someplace else. Not if you REALLY mean that “ALL Life Is Sacred.”
I’m reminded of the phrase “cafeteria Catholic.” Which describes someone who claims to be a Catholic but is only willing to accept or adhere to selected parts of Catholicism they like. Not the whole thing. Just little pieces of it. Well, these selective “pro-lifers” are like that. “Cafeteria pro-lifers.” They pick and choose what life is worthy of honor and protection and what life can be ignored, dismissed, negated, or destroyed outright.
