Thomas Jefferson-James Madison and the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions

Per wikipedia, “The Democratic Party evolved from Anti-Federalist factions that opposed the fiscal policies of Alexander Hamilton in the early 1790s. Thomas Jefferson and James Madison organized these factions into the Democratic-Republican Party.”

And

“The modern Democratic Party was formed in the 1830s from former factions of the Democratic-Republican Party, which had largely collapsed by 1824. It was built by Martin Van Buren who rallied a cadre of politicians in every state behind war hero Andrew Jackson of Tennessee.”

Is it time to reintroduce the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions that Jefferson and Madison authored?
