Here's The 7/7 Tribute NBC Cut

NRA Must Have Pulled "Secret War On Guns"

Let me take a bow...perhaps.
I sent e-mails galore out yesterday to CNN, MSNBC, CBS, TRUTv, TimeWarner.
Spoke to a whole bunch of folks at the big corporate networks.
Screamed at a guy who was not taking me seriously.

My recent Google shows gun folks complaining today that something else ran in its place.

Denver Dems Office Vandalized

The Secret War on Guns

Is a 30 Minute Paid Program sponsored by non other than The NRA that runs on different cable channels. They call the President every name in the book and accuse him of treason.
It is frightening!

The NRA is fucking evil

Former Medical Student

just heard this on CBS Radio News.

What Does Morgan Freeman Want In Return

for his million dollar super-PAC donation?
Same question for Bill Maher.

Both support marijuana legalization, which POTUS doesn't support, so that can't be it.
One's white, one's black...and our President is half white/half black...hmmmm....
Mr. Freeman wants to play President Obama in the future film of the Obama presidency.

I do know this, David Koch and the 16 other Republican Citizens United titans expect something in return for their millions. - no matter how petty it is. When John Boehner took back the house in 2010.... out went the bio-degradable dinnerware Nancy Pelosi placed in all the capital cafeterias and back came the Koch brothers toxic Styrofoam products.

I'm sick of them pointing to Hollywood as some counter to the corporate billionaires and there not being a difference.
There is a difference and it involves big fat government contracts.

More Handfuls and More Handfuls - Voter Fraud in CO

Thousands have been reduced to "More handfuls and more handfuls"

"As we gather more handfuls and more handfuls (of potential noncitizens), we're talking about actual fraud here," he said.

Secretary of State Scott Gessler has taken his most expansive step yet to identify non citizens who may be registered to vote, filing open- records requests with jails in 10 of Colorado's largest counties for lists of anyone held on an immigration detainer since 2010.

The office then ran the names and birth dates of people on the lists about 10,000 so far against the state's voter-registration database.

They came up with 85 people who appear to be registered to vote, spokesman Rich Coolidge said. Of those, 29 were active voters, or had cast ballots in or since the 2010 general election.

The counties that provided data were Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, Mesa and Weld. Pueblo

Suthers backs Gessler, asks Homeland Security to screen voters

This Gessler guy is determined to disenfranchise Colorado voters.

Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler is intensifying his efforts to root out and remove any noncitizens from the state's voter rolls before the November election and this time, he has the backing of Attorney General John Suthers and top elections officials in 11 other states.

Gessler and Suthers sent separate letters to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano Monday, again asking DHS to help the state verify the citizenship status of about 5,000 Colorado voters. Suthers' letter also states that DHS is required under federal law to provide the information, and that the U.S. Supreme Court reiterated that requirement in its recent decision on Arizona's immigration law.

They also sent a nine-page draft memorandum of understanding that outlines how the process would work, and asked DHS to respond by July 20 so Gessler's office will have enough time to run the checks, notify voters and "remove names, if any, from the voter registration lists" before the deadline to make such changes in time for the Nov. 6 election.

"Our electoral system must have safeguards to verify eligible voters and prevent illegal ballots from being cast," Gessler wrote. "An unenforceable honor system does not build confidence in our elections."
