Atticus
Atticus's JournalSean Conley isn't a real doctor. He just plays one on TV. nt
One way to go about the SCOTUS questions: "We have no plans to pack a future Court until
we see if we can 'unpack' the current one."
Let them chew on that.
No way to prove it, but this seems true to me.
If a male VP candidate had squared off with Mother's boy and given him the high-decibel on-air gutting he deserved, many in the audience would have called him a "hard charger" who "stood toe to toe with his attacker" and "gave at least as good as he got".
If Kamala had done the same thing, the same people would have said "shrill bitch!"
How do you know when a Trump rally is over?
They've got all the snakes back in the box.
("Ebba gang dankle n twinus sa bungadoo!" )
SATIRE! "I know I'm not contagious because I haven't reinfected myself. If I was
contagious, I'd have made myself sick by now.
See?"
Both candidates agreed to debate. Joe is willing to live by the agreement and participate
in the October 15th virtual confrontation. Trump refuses.
The debate commission and the networks should proceed with providing the 90 minutes of air time originally planned to whoever makes themself available as agreed. If Trump persists in his cowardly refusal, he should be represented by an empty chair and Joe should be asked the questions the moderator planned to ask both candidates.
Go ahead, Donnie. Stomp away and pout. That'll show 'em!
LOL!!!
Just watched Trump calling his infection with covid a "blessing from God".
I'm just a heathen, but isn't that "using the name of the Lord thy God IN VAIN?"
Isn't that one of the "thou shalt nots"?
Susan Page should never ever be allowed to comment on or moderate anything remotely
political again. Period.
She has totally rolled over and allowed this smarmy twerp to rule the stage.
I, for one, have had more than enough of this "religious liberty" nonsense. To be sure, you have
the right to believe or not believe as you choose. But, damn it, do not ask me to bow to your vision of a supreme being.
You are free to believe that homosexuality is a sinful choice, men were ordained to rule over women or that sex outside of a hetero marriage should be a "stonable" offense, but don't you dare require that others respect that ignorance and adjust their behavior to comply with it.
I wish I could credit whoever coined this example, but I cannot: "Having a religion is sort of like having a penis---it's fine to have one and it's OK to be proud of it, but waving it in people's faces is likely to start a fight."
I'll close with a favorite bumpersticker: "Stop using God as your excuse for being an asshole!"
Can I get an "AMEN"?
Unless Trump can test negative for Corona virus (by a real, reputable doctor) before the
scheduled October 15th debate, Joe should tell him to pound sand.
