Our local paper printed a news item concerning Covid 19 testing now being available at one of our medical facilities.
FIRST Facebook comment: "Great! Good to finally have testing available!"
SECOND Facebook comment: "No! Only if you are sick. If have too many positives, governor will keep us shut down!"

No one in the Obama administration asked that Gen. Flynn be "unmasked".
Several, though,did ask that the unnamed US citizen who was having frequent extended telephone conversations with Putin's ambassador be unmasked and that Putin pal turned out to be Flynn.
I have no doubt that Trump and his base are too damn stupid to understand that if Biden, Brennan and others had KNOWN it was Flynn talking with Kislyak, there would have been no need to "unmask" him. But, do you know who DOES understand that? BARR---and that means that what the others do ignorantly, he does intentionally.
In a just world, Mr. Barr would die in prison. To quote his boss: "We'll see what happens."
Some good news and some bad news:
The GOOD---Trump announced today that a "fully approved" Corona virus vaccine will be publicly available by year's end.
The BAD----The vaccine will be produced by the Clorox Company and will be "fully approved" by Eric Trump.
I'm so relieved! Apparently, if I just never get another PSA test, I'll not have to worry
about prostate cancer. Tests = cases; no test = no case.

When building a house, one does not schedule delivery of the shingles and gutters for
the first day on the job site. In due time, the builders will need lumber and bricks and pipe and wiring and, eventually, shingles and guttering. But, before any of this can be used, you need a foundation. The best carpenters and plumbers and electricians in the land will be wasting their time and talent if they attempt to build without a solid foundation upon which everything they do will rest.
A sane, intelligent and caring POTUS in the White House is the foundation for any successful national undertaking. As long as the waste of skin now in the White House---aided and abetted by those in the GOP brothel---continues to spew hatred and nonsense, we not only have no foundation to build on, we have a site manager who claims "the dog ate my blueprints!"
Trump is quicksand. Joe is solid bedrock.
When do we stop backing up? When do WE stand OUR ground? When do we respond to
threats from these MAGATs with a steely-eyed "Bring it."
They object to being ordered to wear masks when shopping and threaten violence? "Oh, excuse us all to hell. The order is cancelled!"
Armed militia creeps invade the Michigan legislature and shout threats: no arrests. The next week, they return "armed to the teeth" ( their words ) and---the legislature cancels the session and stays away.
A salon owner defies her state's order to close, she is arrested, put in jail and then released the next day because too many thugs were raising hell and threatening more protests. "We don't want to make a martyr out of her" was the reason given for ignoring her defiance.
We are not being seen as "the adults in the room". We are being seen as patsies---too weak and cowardly to stand up for our beliefs.
Either laws and orders mean something or they don't. If they don't, let's quit pretending and admit it's "Lord of the Flies" time.
