I think we need more "self censorship".

Most of us already do this, but I wonder if more should consider the possibility of uttering "self-fulfilling prophesies".

We are all entitled to say just about anything that sprouts in our cranium, but that doesn't mean we should cast it out onto the internet. Some of the gloom and doom speculation could have been written by Trump operatives and some may actually appear bracketed by quotation marks in GOP ads---"Even the Democrats know they're going to lose!"

I believe there still exists a "decent majority" in this nation and that there are many true American patriots who are working unseen to flush the Trump infection out of the body politic.

We will not win every battle; many will suffer unnecessary hardship; but, we will prevail.

I have my bad days, too, but I can usually limit the evidence of my discouragement to muttering terrible oaths under my breath inside my own home.

Why I will never again set foot in the state of Florida:

Florida DUers---sorry, but I will never again visit the Mouse's House, fish Lake Kissimmee or veg out on one of your beaches. Your state is not just home to tfg , but is also run by an unapologetic anti-democrat.

I have read that even more RWNJs are flocking to the Sunshine State to bask in the warm glow of the fascism that permeates the daily life of inhabitants trying to survive in your gun-toting "stand your ground" state.

I could go on, but it just boils down to "Why should I voluntarily expose myself to Florida's nastiness and danger?"

If tfg and DeSantis wind up in a cage fight and destroy each other, I might reconsider, but I am too old to think that will happen while i am still alive.

IF we are ever successful in restoring what for over two centuries were deemed normal standards of decency and intelligence, we will likely have to spend billions of dollars constructing and staffing secure mental health facilities because you morally bankrupt and mentally deficient people cannot be permitted to wander around among us without restraints and close supervision.

You are not "confused".

You are not "victims".

You are not deserving of "sympathetic understanding".

Trump did not make you into the traitorous whining dead-enders you now are. He simply encouraged you---gave you "permission"---to reveal what you've always been: malevolent ticking time bombs.
