Any ornithologists among us? Question re: hummingbirds.
I have never seen a "flock" of hummers. How do this year's newly hatched know where to migrate to. From Illinois, I believe our ruby-thoateds fly across the gulf to central America. Further east, I believe they go to Cuba.

So far, 341 million covid vaccine injections have been given in this country.
Using CDC figures, there have been about 3.5 million severe reactions to these vaccines. For the most part, these were anaphylaxis. Nearly all other reactions were termed either mild or moderate and included things like injection site pain, headache, fatigue and nausea. Severe reactions occurred in about ONE PERCENT of the injections.
Another medicine also has an adverse reaction frequency of about ONE PERCENT: aspirin!
The majority of this information came from an NIH website, PubMed.gov. I did do the math and the 3.5 million figure for anaphylaxis is an average. The NIH put the reaction frequency at between 2 and 5 million.
Democrats and any who oppose the Trump party---a moment, please.
The 2022 midterms are still over a year away and already we are hearing about Democratic "factions" and "divides" and speculation about who "deserves" to win our upcoming primaries.
Can we stop this crap---NOW?
I am not "in love" with some now contesting Democratic primaries, but you can bet your sweet bippy that I would vote for ANY candidate chosen to run in the general election.
And, to those who may respond with "No one can tell me who to support", I say "Wonderful!" Support any candidate you fancy in the primary but then, --- pull on your big boy pants or your big girl panties and vote for the Democrats---straight down the ballot from Senate to school board!
We need EVERY vote in '22 to preserve and expand our majorities in both chambers of Congress. If we lose either, ------well, the results have already been forecast here by posters more qualified than I am.
Discuss candidates? Of course. Criticize fairly? That's what primaries are about.
But, please, folks---resolve now to vote for every Democrat on your ballot in the general election. If you feel you have to hold your nose to do so, fine. Just do it.
Any Democrat smells better than any Republican.

Trump does not "live in an alternate universe". He is mentally ill.
He does not "mis-speak" or "have a strained relationship with the truth". He lies---constantly.
There are not two genuine "opinions" about whether the January 6th insurrection was a violent assault on democracy by Trump's supporters. We watched it happen, damn it!
Before you ask Greene or Boebert or Jordan or Gaetz or Gohmert their opinion about ANYTHING, please ask someone who drinks lunch out of a brown bag and sleeps behind a dumpster. If you need to fill more air time, ask him to sing. It will improve your "broadcast quality".
And, PLEASE start calling bullshit by its name.

Do you personally know any "contrarians"; people who consistently oppose whatever
others favor and support whatever everyone else condemns?
It doesn't seem to involve any real thought and they don't seem to realize that, in a perverse way, they allow "everyone else" to determine their likes and dislikes.
