The day after Mueller testified before Congress,

Trump declared himself exonerated and promptly phoned the Ukranian president to ask for a "favor".

If, as most expect, he is not convicted by his GOP Senate, he will naturally crow that he is exonerated, but what else will the "day after" bring this time?

One could hardly think of a profanity not publicly voiced by Donald Trump and yet,

we are urged to condemn Joe Biden for calling a "damned liar" a damned liar.

So, lend me your imaginations for a few moments---

---imagine four farmhands in a barn lot with a deep pit on one side and a large pile of manure on the other.

Farmhand A shovels a basket full of manure and then walks over and hans it to Farmhand B. B walks over and hands the basket to C and C delivers it to D over by the pit. D empties the basket into the pit and returns the basket. This is repeated until all the manure is deposited into the pit.

I thought the speed with which the Biden campaign produced that great ad featuring

footage of NATO leaders mocking Trump was amazing! Had to be about a 24 hour turnaround.

Does anyone believe that a man who testified in the same manner and with the same

passion as Prof. Pamela Karlan did would be criticized in the same manner and with the same ferocity as she is?

I think she was just "too uppity" for the "good old boys".

We have to acknowledge and confront the sad fact that, for a significant percentage of Americans, only white straight Christian males should ever occupy the White House or any truly significant leadership position.

"It's right there in the Bible!"

"What can I do?" If you are asking yourself this question I have a suggestion.

Each of us has a friend, family member or co-worker who is just not as "into" politics as we are. They are likely only vaguely aware of the reasons we want to impeach Trump. We need to tell them in simple easy-to-understand terms why we consider his impeachment essential to the survival of our democracy.

How about: "Trump has admitted offering to trade anti-tank rockets to the Ukraine if they would give him 'dirt' on Joe Biden AND, in a separate matter, told the Russians their interference in our 2016 election was ok with him---'no big deal'".

The first is a felony; the second is AT LEAST traitorous.

Yeah, those Hardee's pornommercials were apparently aimed at the prepubescent 11 year old

male demographic. Plus, the CEO of Hardee's and Carl's Jr is Andrew Puzder, who Trump nominated to head Dept of Labor. He withdrew after his scuzzy past business dealings got too much publicity.

I mentioned his age only as it may somewhat explain his "intellectual impairment". I mentioned

his appearance only to indicate that he is not a "pretty face" and may be feel in need of some attention.

I agree that it is his "philosophy" that is the problem and that neither his age or his looks are relevant criticisms.
