OBVIOUS, in some cases ADMITTED crimes?
I sincerely hope that I will be eating a large portion of crow about this post in the coming months.
It may be that AG Garland's DOJ is very quietly and professionally investigating Trump's knowledge of and participation in the January 6th attempted coup. If that is the case, I will happily dine on that crow.
But, if there is no such investigation in progress as I type this, I believe it is time for the AG to opt to "spend more time with his family". There are any number of experienced Democrats who could "hit the ground running" if named to replace him.
The usual suspects can now respond with their "you don't understand how things work" posts. Maybe I do understand and simply find it unacceptable IF in fact NOTHING has been done to pursue the worst criminal traitor in our history.

It is not even necessary that "Everybody" agree about anything. In our current Potemkin media village termed "journalism", it is enough that some warped head case take to the internet tubes and spew virtually any evil nonsense precede it with one of those "Everbody"s. That digital virus will spread faster than the Delta or Omicron variants, be repeated endlessly on cable "news" and will determine whether millions wear masks or get vaccinated or vote for sociopathic monsters.
Maybe we should start insisting that anyone beginning a statement with "Everybody---" name three of these unseen unnamed people or just sit down and STFU.
So, I hope this doesn't cause y'all too much jealous anguish but, for our evening meal
tonight, Mrs. A made split pea with ham soup from scratch and from-scratch cornbread baked in a cast iron skillet.

Yesterday, driving my car with a Biden sticker on the rear, as I inched forward in a left turn lane, a local passed me on the left, rolled down his window and screamed "FUCK BIDEN!"

If your kitchen was on fire and you called the fire department, how would you feel if
they showed up, told you it was "just a grease fire", used one fire extinguisher on it and left while orange flames were still visible?
How would you feel if the use of water on fires was prohibited?
How would you feel if firemen were penalized for extinguishing fires?
Are these not analogies to how many states are handling the "covid fire"?
We've all likely heard a desperate person compared to a "cornered rat", but have you ever really
considered what that means? It is time to do so because that phrase quite accurately describes Trump now.
As various state and federal prosecutors and numerous plaintiff's attorneys continue to investigate, investigate, investigate and as those he has always considered disposable "underlings" continue to talk and produce forgotten emails and texts, HE WILL DO ANYTHING to escape. ANYTHING!
A cornered rat will attack a tomcat 20 times its size, run through fire or leap off a cliff in an attempt to GET AWAY! Faced with the prospect of very serious and immediate pain, the cornered rat thinks only of its personal welfare.
Trump will do ANYTHING to avoid the nooses that are steadily tightening and the likelihood of prison. I specifically include blackmail, murder, treason and violent insurrection in that "ANYTHING".
He should be cut no slack; given no benefit of the doubt; allowed no room to breathe. He should be treated as the criminal he is and any who support him should be called what they are: accomplices.
Unlike a desperate cornered rat, we cannot get rid of Trump with a sharp shovel. We must use sharp lawyers and unswerving determination.
As exemplified by his recent savaging of General Milley, it seems that tfg's appointments were all
"the best people" until they refused to kiss his ass each time he insisted they abandon all self respect and pucker up.
It must be apparent to all that anyone who is still in his service or otherwise supports him is as immoral as he is, as ignorant as he is or both.
IMHO, if a person known to be unvaccinated or who represents themselves as unvaccinated
intentionally approaches and coughs on someone, that is at least an assault, possibly battery.
If it happens to me, I intend to defend myself as though the person tried to punch me.
