So, has Pat Robertson decided what sin Kentucky committed that caused God

to "smite" them with tornadoes?

Nothing happened to them after they voted for McConnell and Trump, so this sin must have been a whopper.

Two related questions: Why isn't Bannon in a cell and why won't the House

exercise its INHERENT CONTEMPT powers?

Here's some "legal advice" that's worth what it's costing you.

Not an attorney---don't play one on TV, but from recent observations of former Trump advisor Navarro, this should work.

If you ever receive a subpoena or summons or any of those other "legal thingies" that you, for whatever reason, just don't want to obey, just tell 'em that some ordinary citizen with no special power or authority has given you a "direct order" not to comply.

Navarro says he will not honor a House subpoena because Trump gave him such an order.

If it's "good for the goose------"

Some days I fear that we will not end with a "bang" OR a "whimper",

but with a "whatever".

Give a shit, OK?

I just heard a Republican opposing vaccine mandates by saying "This is America---

where we all have the right to make decisions for ourselves!"

Really, asshole? You idiots REALLY think this is all about your personal "rights"? What about OUR rights?

What about our RIGHT to move around in public without being infected with the deadly Trump virus?

Maybe the biggest difference between Democrats and "Republicans" is that we understand it's NOT "all about us"!

"Your people---your people, sir, is a great beast."

That statement is widely attributed to Hamilton, but there is no hard evidence that he said it or wrote it.

Whatever the source, that quote comes to mind whenever I see video of a Trump rally, especially the one held at the Capitol on January 6th.

For most in my area, the slogan on Melania's jacket sums up their

attitude about the covid pandemic, the January 6th insurrection, Trump's crimes and Russia's intervention in the last two elections: "I DON'T CARE! DO YOU?"

Please don't tell me I need to "reach out" to them.

As Joan Rivers used to say, "Can we talk?"

How embarrassingly SILLY----"ridiculous"----are we going to allow our public discourse to become?

We are coming up on the first anniversary of the well-financed and planned attempted overthrow of the United States government and hardly a day goes by without several media "discussions" about WHETHER this was a serious matter.

MOST of those January 6th insurrectionists who have been convicted of some offense have not been sentenced to ANY jail time. In my apparently "quaint" opinion, if a person truly did not fight with police or damage or steal property and had no prior similar offenses, ONLY six months in jail would be appropriate. That should be the minimum penalty imposed on these criminals.

I know, you know, EVERYONE knows that if BLM had tried to invade the US Capitol in a similar manner, MANY body bags would have been needed and the same Trumpies now insisting that nothing serious happened would be screaming "Hang 'em ALL!" I certainly do not want that to be done to these Capitol invaders, but could we PLEASE demand that they not be treated like "mere trespassers"?

Is there any genuine doubt that the Trump regime attempted a coup? If not, what is there to "discuss" endlessly?

Finally, how many felonies does Trump have to admit on video before SOMEONE throws his junky ass behind bars?
