Several here continue to disagree.
Your contention is refuted
by a variety of constitutional law professors in this piece.

Are you a constitutional law expert?
How's that going for her?
Because the way I read the article -- "don't pick a lane" -- it's less resisting a pigeonholing than it is weaving all over the road.
YMMV, of course.
Next time post a link
She'll win the DK straw poll this week.
https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/1/22/1828287/-Daily-Kos-Democratic-Straw-Poll-January-22Warren won last week.
I think that in a #BlackLivesMatter time, her record as an LA prosecutor and as Cali AG is -- contrary to your opinion -- not something that will serve her well upon closer scrutiny. I find her credentials a bit thin, far from impeccable. Her announcement on MLK Day seemed a bit of a pander to the African American caucus. But irrespective of our opinions, she might very well be one of the last left standing this time next year (or 13 or 14 months from now, to be more accurate).
Last week Liz Warren got all the love; this is Kamala's week. Next week? Who can tell?
Be sure and vote in the DK Democratic straw poll this week
https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/1/22/1828287/-Daily-Kos-Democratic-Straw-Poll-January-22Welcome to our bi-weekly Daily Kos presidential straw poll! Every edition, the two last-place vote-getters will be swapped out for two new names. With 25+ Democrats interested in running, its about the best compromise at the moment. Last edition, the losers were Julián Castro and Kirsten Gillibrand. They may return in future installments if they start to catch fire (I suspect Gillibrand has that potential).
Also, starting this edition, an email address will be required to participate (unless your email address is already in the Daily Kos cookie. Its one of a series of measures were putting in placemany behind the scenesto protect the integrity of the straw poll, while also helping build our list, one that does amazing activism work. Were not worried about campaigns or supporters spamming the straw pollI like that this thing, unscientific as it is, measures online support intensity. Were more worried about bots and Russians and malicious actors (like this one). Requiring an email address is not a prophylactic, but it does assist with countermeasures.
Circulate -- Tweet it, post to Facebook and other fora -- for wider exposure.
Leopold has been extremely problematic
going back to 2002 and Enron.

His 2006 reporting on Rove's indictment (sic) roiled this forum; I remember that quite well. It spawned the "Fitzmas" celebration, where we all hoped Cheney and/or Rove would get frog-marched out of the White House for Valerie Plame's outing, but all we got was Scooter Libby ... and he got out of jail free by GWB, and pardoned by Trump.
(On the bright side, W did give Michelle that piece of candy at funeral. Two funerals, McCain's and his dad's, IIRC. So I guess everything's copacetic with the Dim Son now.)
Buzzfeed is cool
It's Jason Leopold that's problematic.
