The case - NYSRPA v. Corlett - concerns the constitutionality of New York's concealed-carry law that requires a person to show "proper cause" to obtain a carry license & therefore limits CCLs to those w/ a specific & articulable need for protection that is not speculative.

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 9th Circuits have upheld the type of "good cause" laws the Supreme Court will review. The DC Circuit is the only court of appeals to strike one down.

Along with New York, 6 other states require this heightened showing of good cause or justifiable need: CA, DE, HI, MD, MA, & NJ. The framework of all those laws will hinge on the outcome of this case.

I believe this is political commentary where Peach is a Polish citizen concerned about corruption and Dennis is the Polish government stifling their speech and calling them radicals. Someone who speaks Polish please confirm
