With AZ, CO, NC and ME, that gives us a solid lock on the Senate.
Interesting; a DNC Finance contact thought the number would be lower than August...

A day after indoor dining returned, New York City reached another major milestone in its recovery as a one-time center of the coronavirus pandemic: It has reopened all its public schools. The citys final phase of reopening classrooms Thursday was also a hopeful sign for the countrys unsteady effort to resume in-person instruction.
Not long after sunrise, middle and high school principals welcomed students back into their buildings for the first time since March, following elementary school children who had started earlier this week. About half a million students, from 3-year-olds in pre-K programs to high school seniors, have now returned to school in New York City, which has by far the nations largest school system.
Roughly another 480,000 children have opted to start the school year remote-only, an indication of how wary many New Yorkers are of sending their children back to classrooms in a city that still fears a second wave of the virus.
And on Wednesday as indoor dining returned at 25 percent capacity, the delight among restaurant owners was also marked by trepidation over whether customers would feel safe enough to return and whether state-imposed limits would further eat away at profits.

RNC, Trump campaign push back on changing debate rules
Source: The Hill
The Republican National Committee and Trump campaign are signaling they will oppose changes to the presidential debate structure after the nonpartisan commission that manages the events said it is exploring potential adjustments following the chaotic contest in Cleveland.
Appearing on Fox News, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel said that the commission should not make any adjustments without the support of both campaigns and that the rules should not be changed in the middle of the campaign, after both sides agreed to specific parameters.
McDaniel also suggested that the Commission on Presidential Debates was pursuing changes in order to assist Democratic nominee Joe Biden, arguing that the former vice president got away without answering tough questions at the first debate.
I hope the Committee on Presidential Debates does not change the rules to once again protect Joe Biden from answering to the American people, McDaniel said.

Pelosi signals no coronavirus deal likely with White House
Source: Politico
Speaker Nancy Pelosi was highly pessimistic Thursday about the chances of clinching a coronavirus relief deal with the White House, leaving House Democrats on a path to approve their own stimulus package and head home to run for reelection.
Pelosi cast serious doubt on the likelihood of an agreement during a private call with House Democrats Thursday, stressing multiple times that Republicans dont share our values on the need to provide trillions of dollars in health and economic relief to Americans impacted by the pandemic.
The California Democrat also outlined several key areas where Democrats and Republicans remained far apart, including a child tax credit, where she said Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has refused to approve even one dollar in new spending while Democrats have sought tens of billions of dollars for the initiative. The two parties have also been at odds over additional aid for state and local governments a Democratic push and Republican demands for liability protections for businesses and schools.
Pelosi and Mnuchin spoke by phone for about 50 minutes Thursday afternoon, where they discussed "further clarifications on amounts and language," according to a Pelosi aide.

Washington PostBut Trumps latest rant at a rally in Minnesota along with a new election forecast that shows him losing Midwestern Whites and a new report on rising GOP anxiety about Trump strongly suggests his preternatural grasp of the region might have deserted him, if he ever possessed it at all.
Trump unleashed a long and hateful diatribe Wednesday night about his favorite target in the state, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D), while spewing wretched nonsense about Joe Biden and refugees. The episode neatly captures the ailing state of Trumpist demagogic politics.
Biden will inundate your state with a historic flood of refugees, Trump railed, insisting that Biden and crazy Bernie Sanders have agreed on a manifesto that pledged a 700 percent increase in them.
