Dinesh D'Souza's '2000 Mules' Book Abruptly Postponed Due to 'Publishing Error'

Source: The Wrap

Dinesh D’Souza’s book version of “2000 Mules,” based on the film that makes widely debunked claims that people were paid to dump fraudulent ballots at collection boxes in key 2020 election states, was abruptly recalled by the publisher Monday, the eve of its release.

Regnery Publishing called the move a postponement due to a “publishing error” and said the book would be released in October. When asked, the publisher did not elaborate what kind of error caused the release to be delayed.

Whatever was deemed a “publishing error” in D’Souza’s book was surely already printed in possibly thousands of copies, however, which would have to be recalled. A Twitter user named Nancy Levine, a self-described author and freelancer, posted screenshots Monday of what she claims were recall notices from book vendors at major retailers.

New Yorkers under 21 can no longer buy cans of whipped cream in NY

Time Out New York

Given the barrage of news that is constantly being bombarded at us, you'll be forgiven for having forgotten about a law that passed in the fall of 2021 banning the sale of whipped cream canisters to anyone under the age of 21 in the state of New York.

Well, the directive has officially gone into effect, so if you are looking to purchase some whipped cream for your baking needs, make sure to bring your ID along.

The new guidelines are a response to concerns over teenagers getting high by inhaling the nitrous oxide that's found inside the canisters as propellant—a practice commonly referred to as a whippet.

According to the New York Post, "in addition to short-lived euphoria, the drug can also cause loss of blood pressure, fainting, heart attack and sudden death. Potential long-term effects include memory loss and psychosis."

BREAKING: President Biden to give primetime speech on Democracy

Source: Philadelphia Inquirer

President Joe Biden will give a primetime speech Thursday from outside Independence Hall, warning about threats to democracy, as he makes a swing of appearances to boost Democrats with roughly two months until the midterm election.

Biden will speak about “how the core values of this nation — our standing in the world, our democracy — are at stake,” according to the White House. He will talk about “the progress we have made as a nation to protect our democracy, but how our rights and freedoms are still under attack. And he will make clear who is fighting for those rights, fighting for those freedoms, and fighting for our democracy.”

The address comes a week after Biden sharply rebuked MAGA-aligned Republicans, calling the movement “semi-fascism” and out of touch with most Americans’ political beliefs. The president spoke Thursday in Maryland while stumping for Democrats ahead of the midterms, which could determine whether Democrats hang onto control of Congress and how much of Biden’s agenda advances.

I'm seeing an alarming demand for vengeance here...

People want Trump "perp-walked".

They want him in "Supermax"

The want him get to "Gitmo".

Some think he should be "executed".

I was under the impression that ultimate goal was justice.....

The mail ballot deadline for the Alaska House Special Election is Tuesday (8/31)

As soon as they're counted, RCV will be applied (most probably to Nick Begich)

Second Place votes will be applied to Sarah Palin and Mary Peltola.

Whomever has the most votes at that point will win and take office immediately.
