According to Article III of the U.S. constitution we do NOT have to be at war to charge treason.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason.

If we conclude that Russia is an 'enemy', then Donnie Two-Scoops has surely 'adhered' to them.

Tonight at Chez trof: BURRITO EGG ROLLS Recipe:

Saw this and had to try it. We're going to try baking a few with an egg wash in a 400 oven to see if that works.
I'll let you know.

1 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. taco seasoning
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 c. black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 c. frozen corn
2 c. shredded cheddar
1/4 c. Cholula Green pepper hot sauce
1 small tomato, seeded and diced
12 egg roll wrappers
Vegetable oil, for frying - Guacamole, for serving

1. In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Season with salt and pepper. Cook meat, breaking up with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain fat and return beef to skillet. Add black beans and corn and cook until warmed through, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a medium bowl and let cool slightly.

2. Add cheddar and Cholula Green Pepper to ground beef mixture, then fold in tomato.
3. Set an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape in front of you and spoon ¼ cup burrito mixture in the center. Fold up bottom half and sides, then gently roll, sealing the seam with a couple drops of water. Repeat with remaining filling and wrappers.
4. In a large, deep skillet, heat 1 inch vegetable oil over medium heat until it starts to bubble. Working in batches, add egg rolls and fry until golden, 1 minute per side. Drain on a paper towel–lined plate and let cool slightly. Repeat with remaining egg rolls.
5. Serve warm, with guacamole for dipping.

tRump is our Captain Queeg.

Get him some ball bearings to finger.
Evidently he is good at fingering things.

An old German lady friend told us about this.

Make your standard (cooked) cornbread (Pepperidge Farms?) poultry dressing/stuffing recipe with maybe a bit more liquid.
Form it into patties about the size of your palm.
Sautee on both sides until the surface is a bit crusty.

I think the senate repugs already know what's in the whistleblower memo.

You know they do.
And they have a propaganda ploy/scenario/whatever to 'nullify' it all ready to launch.
That's the only reason I can think of that they've called for it to be delivered to them now.

They are slimy bastards.

OK, who remembers Rod McKuen? "Listen to the Warm"

I'm binging Downton Abbey on PBS/ ROKU.

What fun!

I'm gonna try a reverse sear tonight.

275 oven for 30-45 minutes with a thermometer probe in a 1" NY strip.
Out at 120 degrees and rest for 10 minutes.
Sear 1 minute per side in a really hot cast iron skillet.
Trying for medium rare.
I'll let you know.
Any suggestions?

Clueless at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue: "We'll see what happens."

It's the standard fallback position/response of Donnie Two-Scoops every time (most all of the time) when he has no idea what the questioning reporter is talking about.
"We'll see what happens."
I'd love to see a video mash up of how many times he's said that since he stole the office.

He really likes the idea and power and PUBLICITY of being THE PRESIDENT, but is too damn lazy and self centered and indifferent to do the work required to actually govern.

So we have no real governing.
We have self serving lobbyists and amateurs feathering their own nests at our expense.

I hope we can survive as a nation until the next election.

Lou Dobbs is Donnie Two-Scoop's Goebbels.

OK, I'm watching Lou Dobbs.
Fox Business channel.

I was curious.
Dobbs is Donnie Two-Scoop's Goebbels.
Quote: "He has improved the life of almost EVERY American."
Oh yeah.
Check with farmers.

All mentions of Democrats by Dobbs are "radical Democrats".
They are "evil, evil people" (abortion): Pastor Robert Jeffress, 'A Fox Business contributor'.

This is way sick, and there are citizens who watch this and believe it all.
