I'm watching him now and I can only think of Captain Queeg.

Someone give him a couple of ball bearings.

Quick update on my PCa.

I have learned that PCa is shorthand for...you know.
Bone scan clear!
YAY!
Pelvic MRI shows three 'suspicious' areas in prostate, (I think).
This is from a translation of the report by a close friend who is a retired doctor, but not an oncologist.

I have a meeting with my urologist tomorrow (who detected the cancer).
I keep y'all updated.

Peace

WE TESTED NEGATIVE! YAY!!!

Miz t. was exposed to a friend who tested positive the next day.
We quarantined from each other.
We wore masks in the house around each other.
She moved into the guest room.
I offered, but she insisted.

After a week of no symptoms we got tested (twice) at a walk-in doc-in-the-box (Immediate Care) nearby. No cost to us with with Medicare.
First test had 20 minute result.
96% accurate.
Negative.

Test 2 took 2 days for results.
99% accurate, according to them.
Negative.

WOOHOO!
No masks at home and Miz t. moves back into the Master Suite.

Any youtube tv gurus here?

All of a sudden my roku tv won't access my youtube tv subscription.
I get a screen that only gives me the choice of 'free trial' or sign in'.

I tried sign in and received a 9 character sign in code. I was directed to 'youtubetvcom/start'.
That web page has no place to enter the code, so now I can't watch youtube tv. That's where I get my local channels among other stuff.

Sally: Report from Ground Zero

I'm in Foley, AL, on Wolf Bay, just north of the intracoastal waterway.
About 15 miles north of Gulf shores.

We lost power at 7:30 Tuesday night and Sally hit around midnight.
She was no lady.
Forecast to come in at a Cat 1 or even a little below, Sally was a high 2 or low 3 when she got to us.
Hail and tornadoes.
Locomotive noise and all.
Horizontal rain like it was coming out of a fire hose.

We have MANY downed trees, rootballs and all.
Some on the house, one on a carport, and one on a shed.
No serious damage to home.
Couple of leaky roofs.
Some blown in water, but no real flooding.

My dock is still under water.

Power came back on THANKS TO PEARL RIVER VALLEY power company, wherever they are, BLESS THEIR HEARTS!

So...a/c/ is back on, lights, fridge, stove, etc.
We're both alive as is Rosie-The-Dog.

Sneakers, tennis shoes, easy walkers

When I was a kid I got a new pair of black, high top, lace up canvas shoes. They had a white circular rubber patch on the inside ankles.
I think they were PF Flyers.

Granny called them 'easy walkers', so that's what I called them.
I put those shoes on and I felt like I could fly like the wind.

Brits call them 'plimsolls', or at least they used to.
What do you call them?
