About Me

Moved to France in September of 2018 after buying our apartment in 2017 after the debacle of the election. We're glad to be here, but we continue to be involved with what's happening in the US.

Grandmother.

Mother.

Granddaughter.

On The Thames - 2018 Goring Lock - A boat, a dog, a plaque.

A slightly different selection than my usual pictures.
The boat intrigued me. Wooden, with a French name, and with a red ensign, plus the cross of St George.

I got closer, because of the dog.

That's when I saw the plaque -

Yes, L'Orage was one of the boats that went to Dunkirk and came back.

Daily touch of France - Friday edition - Winter storm in Cassis

A bit of a departure - as these are in colour.

The lighthouse at the entrance to the yacht harbour.

Another breaking wave.

The 'French Connection' house. This house was used in the opening scene of 'The French Connection', when Charnier drives up in a Jaguar.
Avenue De L'Amiral Ganteaume, Plages de Bestouan, Cassis, Bouches-du-Rhône, France.
