The back flips down to make a ramp, and you throw the car into reverse to back down that ramp.
Now, instead of doing an immediate 180 and ending up facing traffic, you throw the gear into drive, while you're still in reverse, so that way you can pass the moving truck that you've just exited.
Now, how do you do this without coming to a complete stop first? Aren't you going to fuck up the transmission? Are today's vehicles even capable of being put into drive while they're still moving in reverse?
Or do you either do the 180 or just come to that complete stop first?

‘TOS’ Actress Arlene Martel Dies at 78

Arlene Martel, who Star Trek fans will remember for playing Spock’s Vulcan bride, T’Pring in “Amok Time,” died on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. She was 78.
Martel’s friend Marc Cushman, author of These Are The Voyages, confirmed the news via the book’s Facebook page. The post notes that Martel recently suffered a heart attack.
Her final public appearance had been with Cushman in Santa Monica, California, on June 28th to promote the book.
In addition to Star Trek, Martel is also known for appearances on Hogan’s Heroes, Bewitched, The Wild, Wild West, Battlestar Galactica (1978) and Gunsmoke.
