The turtle is a traitor: The deplorable Moscow Mitch McConnell is angry after being called out for being a Russian sympathizer so afraid of Trump he blocked legislation to secure national elections.

The hashtag #MoscowMitchMcTreason began trending on Twitter Tuesday morning after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) fired back against the nickname “Moscow Mitch” in a fiery speech from the Senate floor.
MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, a former GOP lawmaker, dubbed McConnell “Moscow Mitch” after McConnell on Friday blocked two election security measures.
The hashtag #MoscowMitch quickly began trending on Twitter following Scarborough’s comments.
McConnell responded on Monday, decrying the attacks against him as “modern-day McCarthyism.”
After being rightly ridiculed in the media for his treason and slavish devotion to the Rapist in Chief, Senate Majority Leader Moscow Mitch McConnell stepped on the Senate floor to try to salvage his ruined reputation. An angry McConnell declared:
It started with the angry lies on MSNBC. The host lied and said that I’ve dismissed Russia’s interference in our 2016 election as, quote, a ‘hoax.’ Of course I’ve never said any such thing. A few hours later came the Washington Post column. It was authored by Dana Milbank, a pundit who spent much of the Obama Administration carrying water for its failed foreign policies and excusing President Obama’s weakness on Russia.
McConnell whined:
I was called unpatriotic, un-American and essentially treasonous by a couple of left-wing pundits on the basis of bold-faced lies. I was accused of aiding and abetting the very man I’ve singled out as an adversary and opposed for nearly 20 years, Vladimir Putin.
The Washington Post column that made Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell so angry was written by Dana Milbank, and published over the weekend. In the column Milbank correctly describes the Senate’s top Republican member as “a Russian asset,” noting:
This doesn’t mean he’s a spy, but neither is it a flip accusation. Russia attacked our country in 2016. It is attacking us today. Its attacks will intensify in 2020. Yet each time we try to raise our defenses to repel the attack, McConnell, the Senate majority leader, blocks us from defending ourselves.
In the column Milbank called McConnell’s tactics “unpatriotic,” adding that the Kentucky Republican is “doing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s bidding.”

The crack of Midnight (UTC-4)? yields another Halloween Eve, DEVIL'S NIGHT, my children. The time when creepy crawlies reap all kinds of mischief. So, for the next twenty-four scintillating hours, it's a time for all of you to play...
Welcome to the event that makes your pre-Halloween celebration the joyous occasion that it certainly is, you ghosts and goblins, you… It's time for The 13th Annual Late H. Lee Atwater Award for Right Wing Evil! (Insert evil, echoing cackle here.)
In this third year of suffering under real life evils, these festivities continue to have a special meaning for all of us. These circumstances have yielded quite a collection of evil actors too chose from, a veritable bumper crop of despicable Right Wing characters, delivered straight from Central Casting. A true collection of real life HORROR. (More evil, echoing cackling). Has there ever been a more horrifying collection of Scary Monsters hellbent on ruining everyone's lives before?
Why do I ask that question every year? They're always bad, so I must. But now, they seem so much worse. Much, much, much more worse.
As you know, the winner who will be chosen by all of you and will be announced at Midnight ET on Halloween, when the Rotting and Desiccated Corpse of the Late H. Lee Atwater will rise from his grave in South Carolina and hand out the award with his boney hands. That's tonight (East Coast time, of course).
Last year's winner, as you may remember, was the one and only The Mitch "Yertle" McConnell, and the recipient of the Fifth Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil was Steve "America's Most Racist Congressman" King. Let's give others a chance this year, shall we?
What am I saying? Trump infests this year's selection and he stands a huge chance of taking it again this year. We'll, see, shall we?
Tonight, before the tolling of the Witching Hour that will signal another glorious Halloween, we'll all place our votes for the people that you have nominated.
After what we've all had to endure this year, it may seem as if the outcome will be obvious, but we have so many horrid little evil creatures to choose from. Use your vote well. Also, I'd like to take this time to announce that we'll be awarding the Sixth Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil to last year's champion, Mitch "Yertle" McConnell,. Seeing how the award is shaped, it's long overdue for this guy. So, we're gonna rectify that.
Anyway, let's do this thing:
