Agreed.

Much of the vitriol aimed her way is wearying in its misogyny, and the silly name mangling just sounds childish. There are a lot objectionable things Melania has said and done that have little or nothing to do with sex. They sound horrible enough with no embellishment.

🎶 Don't cough for me, Argentina! 🎶

Last snarky comments of the day... maybe. I can't make promises.

- at least everyone at Walter Reed is heaving a great sigh of relief, and other patients can finally get some sleep.

- hopefully somebody found every hidden stash of adderall, or the drug interactions will make tonight's balcony scene look even more third rate dictator tacky tomorrow than it does now. oh, look it's a replay: wheeze, salute. oh, look it's a replay: wheeze, salute.

Make it stop.

No. 210,000 average Americans and more was never going to be enough.

It took one snivelling donald and a few Repub Senators from the Judiciary Committee getting sick. That's what it took.

Steve Schmidt is on a roll. Good for him.

Panther's post and the amazing conversation it provoked

has covered the gamut of my thoughts and feelings, which have grown over the past four years, and really peaked in the last week or two. The sentence that jumped out at me the most among so many thoughtful ones:

I just want his toxic effect on the nation and the world to end.

Yes, THIS. As a nation, we have been suffering from involuntary, inescapable participation in an abusive relationship with a toxic government. It almost over, thank goodness. Soon it will be over and the healing can begin.

I agree.

In person debates are not necessary. It's possible to have a virtual debate and they really should. If we've gotten to the point of moving podiums farther apart and debating plexiglass screens then the next thought is, how's the ventilation?

Given the number of staff who were infected during the prep phase at the last debate, it's not just about the safety of the candidates. Think of the chain of people, all the staff involved in getting either of them from home to the debate center: public spaces, planes, catering and dining, autos - all these situations involve other people who might be exposing one another. It doesn't have to happen that way. There is no need to throw all of these people together just to put on a show in person. Zoom debates - do it!

Well, Mitch. Good luck getting that quorum.

Sociopath.

It shouldn't be, but Grassley is on the Judiciary Committee.

All he's thinking about is the SCOTUS vote. Dummy doesn't want to admit that not testing will not mean he doesn't have it, or that he isn't capable of giving it to someone else on the same committee. 🤦?♀️
