Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Republicans hoping to overturn the election results should give up.

Bush made his comments in a Thursday night tweet.

His comments were in reference to a suit filed with the Supreme Court by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton challenging the results in four battleground states.

Bush wrote: “This is crazy. it will be killed on arrival. Why are smart people advancing this notion? Let it go. The election is over.”

You may not have heard of Kilmer or even the New Democrat Coalition. The media wing of the Republican Party wants to pretend that A.O.C., the Squad, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are the Democratic Party because it wants you to think Democrats are a bunch of socialists.

Progressive Twitter is far to the left of the actual Democratic Party and it also emphasizes A.O.C., Sanders and Warren because that’s what makes its heart flutter. Even the mainstream media pays far more attention to the Squad than to Kilmer or moderates like Abigail Spanberger.

This week a thoughtful scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, Danielle Pletka, fell for the mirage. She wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post in which she disdained President Trump but said she would have to vote for him because the Democrats have moved so far left.

Pletka’s essay kicked up a storm, but usefully raised the question: Where exactly is the Democratic Party?

(CNN)Authorities have found 39 missing children in Georgia during a two-week effort to rescue endangered minors.

The US Marshals Service Missing Child Unit led the search, dubbed "Operation Not Forgotten." It collaborated with the agency's Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and state and local agencies.

The operation resulted in the rescue of 26 children and safe location of 13 others, US Marshals said in a news release on Thursday.

"The US Marshals Service is fully committed to assisting federal, state, and local agencies with locating and recovering endangered missing children, in addition to their primary fugitive apprehension mission," US Marshals Service Director Donald Washington said in a statement. "The message to missing children and their families is that we will never stop looking for you."

What flummoxes me about this is that they lumped in Parental Kidnappings with actual Sex Traffickers, Pedophiles etc, and likely waited till some PR influenced opportune time to take action.

WTF: If at any time they know someone is holding a child and sexually exploiting them, you send in the fucking calvary right the fuck now! You don't wait till you have some PR worthy event or a Round UP.

A plan to release over 750 genetically modified mosquitoes into the Florida Keys in 2021 received final approval from local authorities, against the objection of many local residents and a coalition of environmental advocacy groups. The plan had already won state and federal approval.

"With all the urgent crises facing our nation and the State of Florida — the Covid-19 pandemic, racial injustice, climate change — the administration has used tax dollars and government resources for a Jurassic Park experiment," said Jaydee Hanson, policy director for the International Center for Technology Assessment and Center for Food Safety, in a statement released Wednesday.
Now the Monroe County Mosquito Control District has given the final permission needed. "What could possibly go wrong? We don't know, because EPA unlawfully refused to seriously analyze environmental risks, now without further review of the risks, the experiment can proceed," she added.

Approved by the Environment Protection Agency in May, the pilot project is designed to test if a genetically modified mosquito is a viable alternative to spraying insecticides to control the Aedes aegypti. It's a species of mosquito that carries several deadly diseases, such as Zika, dengue, chikungunya and yellow fever.
