Highland, Speyside, Islay or Campbeltown?
I've just recently begun getting my feet wet in the world of Single-malts. So far, I'm partial to the Speysides. Particularly Aberlour and Balvenie. Any other Scotch fans feel like weighing in?

Who doesn't love a good murder ballad?
On one of our first dates, my wife and I saw a woman do this song a capella at a local open mike...we had never heard it before, so we asked her what it was... then went and bought the CD the next day... stunningly beautiful. From one of the darkest (but most amazing) albums of the 90s.

I've gotten a few emails today from somebody trying to get me to research insurance costs for them... just seems weird to me.. here's the text of the last email I got:
Awesome, that's perfect. My husband (redacted) is the one buying it for me. Our agreement is that he buys the car for me, if I handle the monthly policy premiums. Im sure I can afford it, but he wants me to give him a rough idea of the cost before he goes ahead and buys it.
I'm at the office, and they allow internet use to internal web sites only. Could you do a big favor for me, and go to Auto Quotes and just run a quick quote for me, so I have something to tell him? Were local, with 0 tickets or accidents. If you could just let me know how much the monthly premium is and we'll come over after work today, if that works for you.

Hi. I do have some flexibility with the price... It currently is financed so there is a minimum number I need to meet but my asking price does leave me some room to negotiate. If I remember correctly the odometer is reading just over 85k... most likely it has rolled over but the car went through a major overhaul in 2007 including an engine rebuild/upgrade. As far as I know there are no major issues performance or appearance wise. I have the car sitting at Titus Nissan Olympia off Carriage Drive. They weren`t able to offer me a trade in value so they are helping me with selling it. What kind of price were you thinking? Thanks for the response.

Lemme think.... I don't suppose it's because these two men were arrested, charged and will subsequently face a jury of their peers - as is their right - which will ultimately (one would hope) deliver a just verdict, whilst Mr. Zimmerman has not been arrested, nor charged, in connection with the death of young Mssr Martin, and in fact, would have been relatively free to live the rest of his days in relative peace and comfort if not for the "outrage" and "celebrities coming down to visit with the family of the victim" which raised the issue to such a degree that the media, and eventually the authorities could no longer ignore the case?
Nah.... of course not... it's just some of that damned reverse racism.. silly me... us white folk just can't seem to catch a break, can we?
Hmm... let's ponder this, then....
One wonders where the outrage is for this victim. Where are the celebrities coming down to visit with the family of the victim, and the media too of course.
