Sorta scary this genre has become so popular. Genre depicts people coping with a future dystopia.

Maybe books are so popular because many feel this future has already begun and are hoping to find clues on how to cope. Sadly, the characters only manage through paranormal means.

In the books I've been reading, the dystopias are the result of paranormal forces.

Would our presnt situation be easier to deal with if it could be blamed on paranormal forces?
