“New Poll Shows Graves in a Statistical Tie with Bachmann”

Those are the headlines we’re seeing across the country. The latest poll shows that Michele Bachmann has fallen well below 50% and we are within just five points, 43-48.

Voters got to see Rep. Bachmann’s true colors when she ran for president – and the more they saw, the less they liked. Her extreme ideology has crippled Washington, and working families have paid the price.

If we’ve ever had a chance to defeat Bachmann, this is it. Minnesotans understand that Bachmann abandoned the middle class. And there’s no third party in the race this time to pad Bachmann’s numbers.

But she’ll fight. She’s well-funded and close with the Koch Brothers, who will attack me aggressively.

We can win this race. We can defeat Michele Bachmann. But we can’t do it without your support. ...

Oh, the irony!

Did anyone else note the irony of Rmoney complaining about those who don't pay federal income taxes, in front of a group that doesn't want to pay taxes?

Who are the 47%? ~ 70% pay income taxes - 17% are seniors.

A breakdown of tax payers who pay federal income taxes, vs. those who do not:

A breakdown of the 47% who pay no federal income tax:

* 70% pay payroll taxes

* 17% are seniors, who have no income and paid taxes prior to retirement

* 13 percent are students, jobless, disabled and/or make too little income.

Note that about 22% households, who paid no income tax in 2009, earned over 50K per year. 6%, made over 100K.

'MY JOB IS NOT TO WORRY ABOUT THOSE PEOPLE' ~ Huffington Post front page headline today.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/

Seemingly, Mitt's only apprehension regarding the comments he made, was that they were not elegantly stated.

Mitt believes - "corporations are people" and actual people are not worthy of concern. Is there an elegant way to communicate these beliefs?

I am officially requesting Romney's "long form" birth certificate, prior to the election.

Who's in?

(This, in response to Rmoney's continued absurdity re: not being asked for his birth certificate.)

I also want his college transcripts. And, those pesky tax returns.
