Crunchy Frog
Crunchy Frog's JournalWe finally got our Covid cherries popped.
Myself, and my 84 year old mother. So far she seems to be doing better than I am. As far as I know, this is the first time we've had it.
We think it's possible that one or both of my sons picked it up at school and transmitted it to us, without ever becoming symptomatic themselves, since we really go out very little, and almost always mask.
Fortunately, we're all fully vaxxed and have had the latest booster, so hopefully it won't be a big deal.
Today is my 20th DU birthday.
20 years since I became a registered member.
I had actually been lurking since early March, but was too shy to post, so didn't bother to register until later.
It was the start of the Iraq war that brought me here.
Those were such horrible times, it was hard to imagine that things could be even worse in 20 years, but it seems like they are.
Thanks to everyone here for helping me to get through the insanity.
Thank you for the hearts!
I just checked in after being away for several hours and three people had given me hearts! Thank you to whoever you are.
