Washington (CNN)In a break with longstanding tradition, Melania Trump opted to ride with the guests she invited to share her first lady's box during President Donald Trump's State of the Union address.
The motorcade ride, from the White House south lawn to the Capitol building, is just a handful of minutes, but for a first couple who has not been publicly seen together since New Year's Eve, the separate cars were another in a string of isolated movements from a very independent first lady.

I think Trump has shown us that more safeguards need to be put into place to protect the US
from a Despotic President. Especially now that we have Fox News. John Dean suggested that Nixon may have gotten away with Watergate had he had Fox News at the time.
When we get the Presidency back and hopefully the other two houses, a lot needs to be done. Trump is showing just how fragile our Democracy is and how a radical President enabled by Congress could truly put us on the brink of Despotism. Special Councils need more protections from the President for one. Please feel free to give any suggestions below or if you think we are safe.

Don't want to make it out as though there is anything wrong with a good honest days work but I have no doubt he would NOT have been skilled at building his wealth having come from a poor family.
I kind of see him as a used car salesman or perhaps a mattress sails guy, maybe waterbeds, but he puts most of his energy into multi level marketing scams that have gone nowhere over the years. Kind of like the mattress guy from About Schmidt who Jack Nicholson wants to prevent his daughter from marrying. Just not as charming. 
What do you think he would be doing now without all of Daddy's money?
I wish someone would produce an alternate life of Trump movie with this premise.

If the White House counsel is scared of Trump firing Mueller, it would prob. work to our advantage
if he did. Lets face it, Mueller or no Mueller, the FBI is closing in on Trump and if they take the head off of a snake that can grow a new head each time one is cut off, Trump just looks guilty as hell if he follows through and all hell breaks lose as the snake grows a new head. Only Rosenstein can fire him, and Rosenstein has sworn not to do it without a really good reason.
McGhan is probably somewhat loyal to Trump as they have had ties for years. He isn't advising Trump not to fire Mueller because he doesn't like Trump, he is doing so because it's good legal advice.
Either way it looks like Trump is in hot water. It must be checkmate if he is so desperate he would consider firing Rosenstein then put someone in place who would fire Mueller and create a crisis of epic proportions that would blow up in his face. And if the FBI has built their case he still goes down but even harder.

After a stellar 2017 on Wall Street, many investors have resigned themselves to the idea that future returns might look a lot less exciting than what’s been experienced in recent years.
The S&P 500 SPX, +0.44% is looking at a gain of about 20% for the year, its best year since 2013, and that rally has raised some concerns about the market being overvalued. By one analysis, U.S. stocks are more expensive than other closely watched markets like Europe or emerging markets—which don’t look particularly cheap themselves—and based on the relative strength index, or RSI, the S&P is at its most overbought level in 22 years. RSI’s are one measure of asset-price momentum.

However, there is a difference between meager—or even negative—returns and a recession, sometimes technically defined as two consecutive quarters of economic contraction. (Economic growth has averaged 2.5% in the first three quarters of 2017.) While the bull market may struggle in 2018, and volatility is expected to rebound from record-low levels, the good news investors is that such an economic contraction doesn’t appear to be on the horizon.
Austin Pickle, an investment strategy analyst at Wells Fargo Investment Institute, named four “recession indicators,” that can help predict whether the economy might be headed for a downturn. “Currently, they are all in agreement, with data signaling that another U.S. recession is not imminent,” he wrote in a note to clients.
The four indicators include: the stock market, the ratio of copper prices to gold prices, the yield curve, and an index for leading economic indicators.
