As if we needed a reminder: We are NOT in a post-racist America

From our sister site:

There are apparently still a sizable number of "N- - - - rs" out there..!!

Even though the vast majority of folks of African ancestry have successfully blended into our society, and have become responsible productive citizens, there appears a good deal of work still needing to be done !!
I suppose that it would be impossible to expect the total number of either race to act rationally..We whites have our own share of "scumbags" among our ranks, and expecting other races to not have their share also, would be irrational, but, both sides of the equation need to indeed work harder to try to reduce the numbers of the jerks that produce the mayhem we saw last night in Baltimore..

The perpetrators of such activities, truly still deserve to be referred to as the "N" word, regardless of their skin color!!

We've got a lot of work to do...Lets stop bickering about it, and get it FIXED...!!

Repugnant. Repellant. Beneath contempt. (And, no, I am not buying that the message is fine but the language is edgy. The language is the message.)

I'm compiling a list of Democratic leaders who no longer represent us.

Mostly because they don't pass the purity test. It's pretty short so far, but this is what I've got:

  • Barack Obama
  • Hillary Clinton
  • Bill Clinton
  • John Kerry
  • Al Gore

Who am I missing?

Is Elizabeth Warren Doing Obama's Bidding?

Obama has learned that nothing he wants can get through Congress. The GOP submarines every initiative, even those working to their benefit, and the Democrats are faintly better.

So, here comes TPP, in the works for close to a decade, and the President wants it to go through. Just knowing the President wants it is enough to have the GOP-dominated Congress block it, unless.... the Democrats hate it. Enter some political strategy and Elizabeth Warren. Obama recruits her to go on every news show and vocally hammer away on the agreement without ever mentioning a single detail about it except that she hates it being a secret. She stirs up the left into such a frenzy that they start invoking the specter of Ross Perot and how he was right along along about NAFTA, so this one must be bad, too.

The GOP will reserve judgment until they know more, but already are leaning toward liking it because the left hates it. When the smoke clears, it passes easily.
