Rubio in New Hampshire: The low spark of

high-heeled boys...

When he was talking I heard a 7-year old, protesting some unfairness generally, refusing to accept responsibility for his record or his actions, and blaming Barack Obama. He flailed, he whined, he recited his memorized script. Not very presidential. Not very adult.

Christie, who should not be lecturing anybody on earth for wrongdoing at any level, jumped Marco and flat-out beat him up on national television.

It's hard for any of us to think as Republicans think. Many of us don't believe Republican think at all. But to the extent that they might, it's difficult seeing them endorsing Marco Rubio for president after this evening's debate.

What's much harder to picture is who they choose if not Rubio. After tonight, it seems the GOP convention just got a whole lot more interesting.
