I'd love to run into Kornacki on the street.

I will tell him that in an industry full of giant assholes he is indisputably the king.

That is all.

Remember the joke called "The Aristocrats" and its structure?

If not see this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Aristocrats

We should create one for The Trumps.

It would be WILD!

Sad COVID-19 story, Episode 3,567,489:

I am acquainted with a gentleman who is a world-renowned voice teacher, opera expert, and singer. He informed me the other day that he had been hospitalized for over three weeks, had nearly been placed on a ventilator, but did manage to fight his way back to life.

He cannot walk more than a block without having to stop, He can no longer sing, his entire existence in life has changed utterly totally and completely. He will be able to judge opera and vocal competitions, but he must needs re-orient his entire way of teaching and communicating.

If all that is measured is the deaths, then the real losses from the Trumpandemic will never be tallied.

Here's a question that has been on my mind for some time:

If Biden wins a clear victory, a 1984 Reagan style win, and Trump refuses to leave the White House, and filed lawsuits between November and January 20, how does Clarence Thomas vote?

As an aside, I would like to add that when he began testifying in 1991 I set my VHS tape recorder and I have tapes of the entire testimony from CNN. My daughter was born that year, and I thought this was of signal importance for her someday perhaps. As it turns out, she’s a professor of communications and these tapes or weirdly, a source of family Pride. And yes, the print-through and distortion is not too bad for those asking.

I awakened this morning with the overwhelming urge to say this:

I spent my formative years in a progressive family: My mother worked at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard during WWII and my father served four years in the Pacific theater working his way up to the Philippines and preparing for the ground invasion of Japan In which he almost certainly would have died. . Both parents were incredibly committed to the sanctity of the country and the human race. I have often written about them here because although flawed In many ways, they were true patriotic Americans who wanted only what was best for the country and for its people.

My parents were vociferously anti-Vietnam war demonstrators and activists, to the extent my father could be an activist as he was a federal employee. There were two things however which were sacrosanct And never to be questioned in a hostile sense. The first was that you do not perform or counsel traitorous behavior to your country under any circumstances. The second was that you never disparage honorable service men or women who are veterans, have injuries, have died in the line of duty, and especially those who have lost family members in the service of their country.

A couple Years ago I related a story wherein my mother had this ongoing fight with this woman down the block who was pro Vietnam war and had sent her children off to the military. One of the children died in the line of duty, And my mother sat me down and said “OK no more, she’s suffered enough - She has lost a child and I’m not contributing to that horror. She has her opinions and her beliefs and she lost a child due in no small part to them and she needs to live with that but she does not need me to remind her of it. True to her word, she treated her very gently and with dignity from that time forward.

My point is, Albeit wordy, That even in my household where in vociferous discussions would take place as to the demerits of various people, politicians, friends, family members, and just about anybody else who crossed our paths, we would never ever disparage our national service people of any stripe, Especially those in military. There was a tacit assumption that although the mission maybe misdirected, the vast number of soldiers were to some fair degree honorable and loyal to their country, and willing to sacrifice their lives and limbs literally, for it.

I can only imagine the disgust my parents would exhibit if they had read the story in the Atlantic last night. It’s a disgrace to the human race.

This presidency is like "The Producers"

No matter how ridiculous, outrageous, and ridiculously outrageous the statements are, the Musical is a hit. At least with 40+ percent.

Springtime for Hitler, anyone?

Didn’t he do himself in when he dissed the gold star family? No? I mean what does it take for this guy to be despised by the military? Suppose he dropped an A-bomb on Fort Dix? Or launched a cruise missile strike on Parris Island? Or had one of our nuclear subs torpedo an aircraft carrier, Which would have been the USS John F Kennedy if it hadn’t been decommissioned. Or perhaps he would re-commission it so that he could blow it up. Wouldanything surprise you at this point?

My father served four years in the Pacific theater during World War II and saw nearly all of his military friends killed or horribly wounded. He would take a giant shit if he heard what came out today. It is disgraceful beyond human comprehension.

It's a race...

There is no question Trump’s health has deteriorated markedly during the last 8 to 10 months. One of my jobs as a dentist who basically operates above the clavicle is to survey the general health of the patient as they enter and seat themselves in the room. I am generally present for many of my patients and observe them carefully as they maneuver themselves, placing their coat or their hand bag somewhere, seating themselves, and watch their general deportment and composure.

Because I see people in intervals ranging From 3 to 6 months, I can note changes in their behavior because it’s so happens that I have a very strong visual memory. When I watch Trump walk, turn his head, move his arms, and also observe his general posture, there is no question that there have been significant changes recently.

In my experience, having spoken to many many patients who have cardiovascular issues or cerebrovascular events, they will remark that for sometime prior other day or family members noticed and commented upon alterations in their general movements, attention span, preoccupation with certain motor issues, and the like. What must’ve happened that day did he was rushed to Walter Reed is that he exhibited in acute symptom of some sort, possibly confusion, possibly inability to perform a simple task such as sitting down or opening a drawer, or he had a fugue state and the doctor was called. They would thus have to do scans immediately. The fact that he was able to walk on his own is not unusual after an episode. I just hAd a patient have a severe TIA in my office and tried to walk out. We stopped him and made him wait for the EMT’s, and it was a good thing we did, because shortly after the TIA’s, during his observation in the hospital, he developed a stroke-in-progress which they intercepted and saved him.

I’m awaiting the major event, it is a time bomb with a fuse of indeterminate length, and he knows it. That’s why the typical projection onto a relatively healthy Biden. This is what he and his minions do and have done for decades.
