In August, Paula Broadwell lashed out at Drudge for Petraeus Veep report

In August 2012, General Petraeus biographer Paula Broadwell lashed out against the Drudge Report for reporting that Petraeus was a rumored Vice Presidential candidate for Mitt Romney.

The Drudge Report featured an exclusive tip – upsetting the traditional thinking of the political establishment – citing a source who insisted that President Obama believed that Mitt Romney wanted to name Gen. David Petraeus as his running mate.

“A Petraeus drama has been quietly building behind the scenes,” Drudge reported at the time, reporting that Romney “secretly met with the four-star general.”

“Your speculation about @Petraeus as a Romney VP pic is full of non-truths,” Broadwell tweeted at the Drudge Report Twitter handle. “(But I guess you figured that out)!”

According to reports, Petraeus ended his affair with Broadwell four months ago – which would have been sometime in June or July of 2012.

Cantor decided after those conversations to call the FBI, but couldn’t do so until Wednesday, Oct. 31, because the government was closed due to Superstorm Sandy.

A senior Cantor aide told ABC News that the Republican congressman from Virginia learned about the FBI investigation that brought the affair to light in a phone conversation with an FBI agent Oct. 27.
Cantor then asked his chief-of-staff to pass the information along to the head of the FBI, Robert Mueller. Cantor spoke to no one else about the investigation, the aide said.
Hurricane Sandy delayed the message to Mueller until Oct. 31. Petraeus admitted the extramarital relationship and submitted his resignation nine days later.

David Petraeus' friend Jill Kelley isn't the only woman in that family he's been giving attention to this year.

In fact, it might make more sense if Paula Broadwell had sent the questionable harassing emails to Natalie Khawam if one were to see the photo of Khawam and Petraeus together here.

And since the four-star general sought to aid his Tampa, FL friend's married sister by writing a letter aiding her in a fierce custody battle a mere two months ago, then Broadwell might have more justified suspicions.

Jill Kelley's twin is psychologically unstable and a liar according to the judge who has dealt with her and her husband Grayson Wolfe as they battled it out for who was getting custody of their son.

Why Would a Whistleblower Go to Eric Cantor?

Note Cantor describes this person as an “FBI employee,” not an agent (though he may be deliberately vague to hide the person’s identity), so it’s possible this person is more senior. The person went first to Dave Reichert, who–as a Representative from Seattle–has no ties to the FBI offices that conducted the investigation (though he’s a former Sheriff and may have ties to the FBI through law enforcement channels). And then he asked to talk to someone “in Congressional leadership,” rather than, say, the head of the House Judiciary Committee, Lamar Smith, who has jurisdiction over the FBI, or Mike Rogers, himself a former FBI Agent and the head of the House Intelligence Committee.

In other words, this instance of whistleblower was not conducted as it normally would be, through the appropriate committees, but instead went to the guy whose job is primarily political, leading the Republican caucus.
Note the timing, too. Petraeus was interviewed around October 25-26. Given that Cantor’s Chief of Staff called Mueller after that, it appears the FBI person probably contacted Cantor after that interview–or certainly after it got scheduled. One thing’s certain: the interview could not have been a CYA effort after Mueller got the call from Cantor.

But it may be what Dianne Feinstein called a “additional complication” today. And it’s possible James Clapper finally got informed of the investigation into Petraeus–he says, on November 6, election day–because Mueller knew that Cantor had heard of it. That is, by alerting Cantor, this “whistleblower” may have ensured the national security establishment couldn’t protect Petraeus.

One more note about the timing. The interview–and this alert to Cantor–happened after the time the GOP was going full October Surprise mode on Benghazi. There were tensions between CIA and FBI because CIA had not shared video fo the attack with investigators. Again, there’s no reason to believe this is Benghazi related. But there were certainly institutional tensions playing out just as the FBI interviewed the head of the CIA about his mistress’ access of his email.

Update: Apparently Andrea Mitchell says the FBI investigation would have ended had this not been brought to Cantor.

Just three months after they posed with David and Holly Petraeus, strands of Gasparilla beads hanging from their necks, the Kelleys were hit with a foreclosure lawsuit.

The suit, brought by Central Bank against the Kelleys and Kelly Land Holdings, centered on a three-story office building at 300 E Madison St. in downtown Tampa. Court records show they owed the bank nearly $2.2 million, including attorney fees.

In 2011, a judge ordered the property to be put up for sale.

In the decade since the Kelleys arrived from Pennsylvania, it proved one of several examples of court cases seeking payment of real estate and credit card debts intermingling with catered parties and A-list guests as the couple sought to establish themselves in Tampa.

And now the Kelleys have a national scandal to contend with — one that is quickly growing more and more curious
Since the Kelleys have been in Tampa, records show, one or both have been subjects of lawsuits nine times — including an $11,000 judgment against them that originated in Pennsylvania.

Ongoing cases, the court records show, include an indebtedness case from Chase Bank; a foreclosure case from Regions Bank; and a credit card case from FIA Card Services.

That agent, who had previously pursued a friendship with Ms. Kelley and had earlier sent her shirtless photographs of himself, was “just a conduit” for the complaint, a law enforcement official said. He had no training in cybercrime, was not part of the cyber squad handling the case and was never assigned to the investigation.

But the agent, who was not identified, continued to “nose around” about the case, and eventually his superiors “told him to stay the hell away from it, and he was not invited to briefings.” The Wall Street Journal first reported on Monday night that the agent had been barred from the case.

Later, the agent became convinced — incorrectly, officials say — that the case had stalled. Because of his “worldview,” as the official put it, he suspected a politically motivated cover-up to protect President Obama. The agent alerted Eric Cantor, the House majority leader, who called the F.B.I. director, Robert S. Mueller III, on Oct. 31 to tell him of the agent’s concerns.

REPORT: John McAfee, The Antivirus Software Inventor, Is Wanted For Murder

McAfee got rich developing antivirus software back in the eighties.

The company named after him, McAfee, Inc, sold to Intel for $7 billion in 2010.

Gizmodo also reports that McAfee has been living in Belize for a while now, spending most of his time there experimenting with drugs.
Antivirus pioneer John McAfee is on the run from murder charges, Belize police say. According to Marco Vidal, head of the national police force's Gang Suppression Unit, McAfee is a prime suspect in the murder of American expatriate Gregory Paul, who was gunned down Saturday night at his home in San Pedro Town on the island of Ambergris Caye

My head is spinning, need someone to put this all together, someone smarter than I. I think this is all just beginning. The slimiest of the slime are at the center: Cantor and Rove.

On Veterans Day ..Thank You

and take a Veteran to Applebees for his free dinner. My Dad died in May, but every Veterans Day he wanted his free dinner at Applebees. We used to see many, many old guys arriving and sitting alone, we would ask them to join us. Take your elderly veteran widowed neighbor, call up Grampa or your uncle, and take them out and Thank them.
