is so bad, it's like reading the Onion. She's in the pool following Romney, and described the visit to the Westerplatte Memorial in Gdansk (a memorial to the defenders of the invasion of Poland by Germany, the first battle in the european theater WW2, 180 Polish soldiers repelled attacks of 3500 Germans for 7 days):

"A large obelisk-kind-of-gigantic stone monument with words and faces carved into its edifice towers over the top of this hill."

What words Greta? Whose faces? What is it in memorial to, Greta? Aren't you the least bit curious? A big funny shaped rock with words and pictures, thats it?

Romneys creepy family tree

Found his tree still looking for anyone who actually fought for this country in his gene pool. (None. Nada thus far) Which is beyond weird, as the average American has someone, somewhere who served in the military. Willard is a war monger whose DNA is untouched and unaffected by the ravages of combat. President Obama has a grandfather and uncle that served WW2, probably more. My own family is full of veterans, we know the cost of war, we all live with the legacy of war everyday, this is why it matters to me.

Mitts chart here. Finding military service in his Family Tree is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

RALEIGH, N.C. - Nineteen months after her death, a permanent marker has been placed on the grave of Elizabeth Edwards, the wife of two-time Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards.

A modest marble footstone was installed last week at Raleigh's Oakwood Cemetery. It was commissioned by Elizabeth Edwards' siblings and is carved with lyrics from a Leonard Cohen song she placed on her kitchen wall shortly before she died of cancer in December 2010.

A more elaborate headstone is still planned from the same sculptor who chiseled the towering angel adorning the neighboring grave of Edwards' 16-year-old son Wade, who died in a 1996 auto accident.

The Associated Press reported last month that people touring the historic cemetery had expressed concern that Edwards did not yet have a stone so long after her death.
