Kellyanne: Not offended by Trump's remarks about Blacks because she lives in white community

STEPHANOPOULOS: As you know -- you were just talking about that. But many in the African American community saw that as insulting because they say most African Americans don't live in poverty and that Mr. Trump was making those comments in communities that are more than 90 percent white.

CONWAY: Those comments are for all Americans. And I live in a white community. I'm white. I was very moved by his comment. In other words, he is trying to tell Americans that we can do better. And the thing that he said that I think got a great deal of resonance is that maybe Hillary Clinton looks at you as voters as your -- takes you for granted. I look at you as people.

A stark anniversary in these times when a new fascist is trying to assume power...

On Aug. 19, 1934, a plebiscite in Germany approved the vesting of sole executive power in Adolf Hitler as Fuhrer.

Following WWII, the world vowed to never forget and never let it happen again. All it takes is for fascism to take hold of the largest power in the world and who knows. We must never even let this nation come close to fascism.

Bannon shows that Trump will amp up the fear component driving his base

"Fear is a good thing. Fear is going to lead you to take action."

Trump Casinos’ Tax Debt Was $30 Million. Then Christie Took Office.

By the time Chris Christie became governor of New Jersey, the state’s auditors and lawyers had been battling for several years to collect long-overdue taxes owed by the casinos founded by his friend Donald J. Trump.

The total, with interest, had grown to almost $30 million. The state had doggedly pursued the matter through two of the casinos’ bankruptcy cases and even accused the company led by Mr. Trump of filing false reports with state casino regulators about the amount of taxes it had paid.

But the year after Governor Christie, a Republican, took office, the tone of the litigation shifted. The state entertained settlement offers. And in December 2011, after six years in court, the state agreed to accept just $5 million, roughly 17 cents on the dollar of what auditors said the casinos owed.

Tax authorities sometimes settle for lesser amounts to avoid the costs and risks of further litigation, legal experts said, but the steep discount granted to the Trump casinos and the relationship between the two men raise inevitable questions about special treatment.

“You can’t tell whether there’s something problematic, but it’s pretty striking that this one was written down so much,” said David Skeel, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School who specializes in bankruptcy law and reviewed the case at the request of The New York Times.

The refusal by Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, to release his personal income tax returns has become a growing issue in the campaign. He has also boasted of his success in lowering his tax burden as a businessman, declaring last year in an interview on Fox News that only “a stupid person, a really stupid person, is paying a lot of taxes.”

Trump tried to invite himself to Chelsea Clinton's wedding

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump tried to invite himself to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding in 2010, according to a new book on former President Bill Clinton

An except from “Man of the World: The Further Endeavors of Bill Clinton,” which was released exclusively to Politico Playbook, tells of Trump’s futile efforts to attend Chelsea Clinton’s wedding.
“And finally there was Donald Trump, who had hosted a somewhat reluctant Bill and Hillary [Clinton] at his third wedding in 2005,” writes the book’s author, Joe Conason. “The real estate mogul was the sort of person who, though not an actual friend, still aspired to attend Chelsea’s wedding, which he clearly considered a prestigious event.”

When Trump didn’t receive an invitation, he reportedly called Doug Band, an adviser to the former president.

“I’m supposed to be at the wedding, Doug,” Trump said. “But I didn’t receive the invitation, and I need to know where to go.”

Must we consider everything Trump says as sarcasm?

Nothing he says can be taken seriously or literally then. This is the guy who "says what he means" according to his surrogates and supporters.

So which is it Trump all sarcasm or all serious? The voters have a right to know. Oh and where are your tax returns?
