My mother (a Trump supporter in Texas) shared this on Facebook

Any truth to any of it?

Shared this from a friend:

Two tips for making your vote count this year in Texas:
1. DO NOT vote Tues Oct 13 - Mon Oct 19. DO vote Tues Oct 20 - Fri Oct 30.
2. DO NOT vote straight-ticket. DO vote for each individual candidate, even if you are voting all for one party.

The governor has extended early voting by one week, so that it will begin a week earlier. The governor is being sued for this. If a court finds that extending early voting is illegal, and you have voted during that time, then your vote could potentially be contested. It is safer to vote during early voting when your vote is less likely to be contested. It is also safer to avoid the polls on Election Day for various reasons.

Also, a Texas judge has stated that Texas cannot prevent people from voting a straight-party ticket. If we do have a straight-party ticket option and this option is contested as unfair, then your vote could potentially be thrown out if you take the straight-party option. It is safer to vote for each candidate individually regardless of whether you will be voting straight-party.

HOUSTON — A lot of people are understandably concerned about voting in person during the COVID-19 pandemic.
That’s one of the reasons a record number of voters have requested mail-in ballots. But now that Gov. Greg Abbott has limited counties to one drop-off location for those ballots, most voters would have to drive miles out of their way or take their chance with the post office.

Why must the debates .....

Be done in person? Seems like they could do a perfectly good debate on Zoom. No one would be expiosed to anything. Plexiglass not needed.
