Thank you!

Same here, from personal experience.

Another DUer said it well:
"All lives are precious; everything living on earth forms an interconnected network - much like a neural network. Most of us have....never learned how to tap into it..."

My experience was what most would call spiritual but I just don't need to believe in a creator/ supervisor/ savior. No offense intended to anyone. Live, love, let live.

My heart aches for the Bidens. 😢

They've experienced so much grief, now this. Sending them my deepest, most sincere sympathy.

"No greater bond"

Close to true here. I'm married and have an adult offspring but my dogs have shown me more unbounded, unconditional love. I truly love & adore intelligent dogs!

It's "an interspecies bond like no other" to quote an article on human-dog relationships.

The same article quoted a study done on human brains using MRI scans which showed the same areas of the brain lit up when humans thought about their dogs as when they thought about other family members. They did not find the same true for cats.

John Dean chimes in...

Dean tweeted:

We are going to learn what Attorney General Merrick Garland is made of by the way he handles this situation. He must do more than say it is awful. This is prosecutorial abuse at it worst and Garland must call it out for what it is — intolerable behavior!

Well...

Why did the hacking of Adam Schiff's email by the DOJ continue until last month? (MSNBC tonight)

~~~~~
Why is Merrick Garland defending Donald Trump?
"It is the sort of discretionary legal judgment that attorneys general often have to make..."
Garland's Trump defamation lawsuit decision might be legally defensible. It's also wrong.
https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/garland-s-trump-defamation-lawsuit-decision-might-be-legally-defensible-n1270188
It was argued on MSNBC tonight that it is not in the legal purview of the DOJ to do this.
There's such a resistance to even learning about...
... the scope of this life-ending problem. Global climate change IS the most serious problem we face!
The cause is not just vehicles using petro or buildings & homes heated w/gas furnaces but the greater amt of fossil fuels that are burned to produce electricity.
And to compound the problem, methane and nitrous oxide are released during the combustion of fossil fuels. Methane is the most powerful greenhouse gas with a "100-year global warming potential, 28-34 times that of CO2."
And to further compound the situation, the more the planet heats up, the more methane that is being released from thawing frozen peat bogs across the planet.
Every Republican rejecting the truth of global climate change should educated themselves ...but that'll never happened.
A DUer even posted yesterday about how a proposed array of solar panels would block the view of a beautiful desert. Sadly, and along with most others, they must not comprehend the full scope of the planet's problem. We desperately need all the solar panels and windmills that we can build, until we can find other alternate energy sources. Even nuclear fuel plants, as dangerous as they are, are far less likely to end life on earth than our continuing to burn fossils fuels at the rate we are going.
Atmospheric CO2 Just Hit a Peak Not Seen on Earth in 4 Million Years
Another scary article here....
https://www.sciencealert.com/carbon-dioxide-just-hit-a-peak-not-seen-on-earth-in-4-million-years
~~~~~~~

We're on track to burn our planet; earth's temps will just keep climbing if we don't immediately stop burning fossil fuels (& having too many kids - the planet just cannot support us all).

They truly are!

I love cats too, you know I do, but those sweet babies can't match a good dog's intelligence, sensitivity, desire to please. Behavioral scientists have discovered that dogs' brains reaction most similarly to humans'.

In a 2015 study that analyzed canine brain activity, animal cognition scientists at Emory University found that “dog owners’ aroma actually sparked activation in the “reward center” of their brains, called the caudate nucleus. Of all the wafting smells to take in, dogs actually prioritized the hint of humans over anything or anyone else,” reported Mic.

This supported the results of a 2014 study that found dog brains are actually wired to pick up on the subtle emotional differences in human vocalizations. They don’t just seem to pick up on the fact that you’re angry or sad, they can actually tell the difference between your sighs and utterances, with each one causing a different reaction in their brain.

Attila Andics, a neuroscientist and lead author of the 2014 study, pointed out several other dog behaviors that provide big clues as to how they view our role in their world: “…dogs interact with their human caregivers in the same way babies do their parents. When dogs are scared or worried, they run to their owners, just as distressed toddlers make a beeline for their parents…Dogs are also the only non-primate animal to look people in the eyes. This is a unique behavior between dogs and humans — dogs seek out eye contact from people, but not their biological dog parents.”

Perfect critique of Anderson Cooper's horrible reporting

If he couldn't have researched this and been logical, he should have said nothing.

Yes, UFO have seen and reported for decades, even in ancient times. They are not some secret U.S., Russian or Chinese invention. Your conclusion is right and most astute. Our govt knows aliens exist but believes telling the public the truth would upset too many people.

And wouldn't the truth impact religious beliefs?

For a number of various reasons,
I'm convinced we are being visited.

Elevator, thanks for your post!
