A guest at the Speed Art Museum's March 7 "Speed Ball" has tested positive for COVID-19, the museum's director said in an email Sunday.

The identity of the patient who tested positive hasn't been released, but attendees of the event included Gov. Andy Beshear, Mayor Greg Fischer, Metro Council President David James, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth.

The ball was held the day after Beshear announced the state's first confirmed case of coronavirus.

The individual was asymptomatic at the time, said Speed Director Stephen Reily, who said in the email to museum employees that he learned about the positive test Saturday.

Hey @GOP

Saudi Arabia closes malls, restaurants, cafes and parks over coronavirus https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-saudi-restaurants-idUSKBN2120XW

RIYADH (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia ordered the closure on Sunday of malls, restaurants, coffee shops and public parks and gardens, while exempting supermarkets, pharmacies and food delivery, in a bid to stem the spread of coronavirus.

Several local municipalities tweeted the directives, which Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television said would apply across the country, where 103 infections but no deaths have been reported.

The orders appeared to go into effect immediately. A diner in Riyadh told Reuters the restaurant she had been sitting in shuttered about 45 minutes before the announcement was made.

Saudi Arabia has taken some of the most drastic steps among Gulf Arab states by halting international passenger flights, cancelling the umrah pilgrimage and locking down its eastern Qatif region, where many cases are centered.

Cancellations hit Trump's hotels and clubs amid coronavirus outbreak

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/cancellations-hit-trumps-hotels-and-clubs-amid-coronavirus-outbreak/2020/03/12/87c4ad88-647d-11ea-912d-d98032ec8e25_story.html
President Trump’s family business, which owns and operates hotels and golf courses, faced a rapidly deteriorating commercial outlook Thursday as it became caught up in the wave of cancellations across the tourism industry as a result of the coronavirus.
The company also learned it had hosted its first confirmed coronavirus case: a Brazilian official who spent time with President Trump at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida last week.

As of Thursday evening, the Trump Organization had not changed its public posture — or outlined what measures it is taking to protect club members and guests — as the virus has spread more widely across the country, including to all nine states and the District of Columbia where the company operates in the United States.

President Trump’s decision to restrict travel from Europe did not apply to the United Kingdom and Ireland — countries where he happens to own three golf courses.

The Trump Organization is still owned by President Trump but is run by his adult sons. The company did not respond to requests for comment about how it was addressing the coronavirus.

They. Just. Don't. Get. It. No wonder they're infinitely untrustworthy

"Indeed, several advisers to Mr. Trump on Saturday privately expressed irritation at Ms. McDaniel for publicly acknowledging her illness."

Why is THIS not happening nationwide??

Read a FB post or tweet or something earlier today where a Target store had moved all paper products and disinfectants behind their counters and were limiting customers to 2 items

Wait! Jared's brother runs Oscar (Google co. to develop Coronavirus database invested in it)

https://twitter.com/WendySiegelman/status/1238863589588512769
The flowchart shown yesterday afternoon of the 'Google' website is very similar to info released in an Oscar press release from yesterday afternoon HT @DemopJ

As @davidgura noted Google sister company Verily has invested in Oscar, co-founded by Jared Kushner's brother Josh

This is Oscar:

...

More succinctly said:

https://twitter.com/Strandjunker/status/1239181595908681728

1. Trump denied the available WHO coronavirus test kit.
2. The 12-week delay cost American lives.
3. After this delay, Oscar Health launches its testing center locator.
4. Oscar Health is a Kushner company.

Investigate the shit out of this mobster family. Benghazi style, please.

Just had a very sobering thought re: long-term ramifications on hospitals and health insurers

With the impending hospitalization of thousands upon thousands of people for multiple weeks at a time, what will be the ramifications on health insurers who’ll have massive outlays to cover the insured?

And the hospitals who’ll eat a lot of cost of patients withOUT insurance?
