"Burr"isma...Burr's defense actually *indicts Trump.*

I took a close look at Richard Burr's "defense" in the insider-trading scandal.

His defense *indicts Trump.*

Burr cites a Trump/admin briefing supposedly showing officials warning the public. It actually shows them *downplaying* the threat!

Here's the key point.

This scandal goes far beyond just the stock sales.

It opens up a vast new line of inquiry:

What were lawmakers privately told by Trump officials about just how bad this was going to get?

And when were they told it?

NOW w/VIDEO ... Here is some detail behind the President's outburst that vague threads don't convey

NBC's Peter Alexander: "What do you say to Americans who are watching you right now who are scared?"

Trump: "I say you're a terrible reporter."

@PeterAlexander : Is it possible that your impulse to put a positive things on things might be giving Americans a false sense of hope?

TRUMP: No, I don't think so ... such a lovely question ... I feel good about it. Just a feeling. I'm a smart guy.

PETER ALEXANDER: What do you say to Americans watching right now who are scared?

TRUMP: I say that you are a terrible reporter. That is what I say. I think you had a nasty question.

Iíve always wondered what it would be like to live through the Great Depression and the Spanish Flu at the same time. With Andrew Johnson as president.

Senate bill introduced for Coronavirus relief. Here are some early details

The bill includes cash payments of as much as $1,200 per person and $2,400 per married couple. Individuals with an adjusted gross income of less than $75,000, and $150,000 for joint filers, would receive the full payment. People earning over that amount would see their payments reduced by $5 for each $100 in income over that amount. The benefit completely phases out for individuals earning over $99,000 and married couples making more than $198,000.
